I didn't think I will have the strength to post anytime soon since I just got a chemical pregnancy. I'm still heartbroken from the recent loss. I was in the May/June IVF and did a fresh transfer now looking to do FET in August. I don't know when yet...

I just started period after stopping PIO three days ago so hopefully all goes well and I can get to do a natural FET next month.

I just got my period this morning, 5 days past retrieval. I triggered with decapeptyl because my estro was so high and from what Ive researched usually period will start somewhere 5-7 days post retrieval with that. So Im waiting out this cycle for pgs testing but our plan was to let me get back to normal and enjoy a bit of our summer before transferring. So either August or September :)

bibz - Struggling with infertility is definitely a roller coaster ride. I've had 3 transfers and 1 resulted in my son. My 4th transfer will be coming up in August. I've never had a miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy, but I can imagine the despair that would bring. I'm sorry that you are going through that.

islandecho - hopefully you'll be able to join me in the transfer journey in August, but if not, good luck in September!

@islandecho hoping we will be transfer buddies. Will you be doing a natural cycle?

@newtothis always nice to hear success stories. It gives me hope. Do you have any idea tentatively of when your transfer will be happening?

I had my retrieval June 17th and missed my July FET due to not starting AF in time. Now planning for an August 10th FET but still waiting on AF now 3 weeks past retrieval. Praying it starts soon!

Hi All! I just had a failed FET and am planning for another transfer in August. As soon as my next cycle starts we will do an ERA, then plan to transfer in August doing a natural cycle with letrozole. Apparently my progesterone and estrogen numbers from my last cycle with super high, so they think doing less meds will work better. We are also going to have one of our embryos retested as the sample the first time around didn't make it to test, so then we will find out if we have another normal embryo. At this time, this is our last normal embryo. We also planned that this would be our last IVF cycle - so this may be our last transfer as well.

Morning all! Sorry about the fluid Melissa87 - hopefully you can get in quickly to get the issue resolved!

Just started CD1, so will go to the clinic in the next couple of days to get baseline and then get my date for my ERA. Will be good to at least have some more answers. I did an ERA in Aug 2018 and it showed I needed another day of progesterone. The doctors say that the ERA is apparently only good for 6 months, but my guess is that I will still need another day. Guess we will see!

Thanks and hey maybe August will be my month and it wont matter. I start provera today so CD1 should be coming in a week or however long it takes. Good luck with your ERA!

Hi wannabeamama - welcome!

So last night I got really down - after 5 failed transfers (one of which was a blighted ovum) Im feeling hopeless - like its just never going to happen. I know this feeling is probably fleeting but its just so hard to have optimism when you continually get bad news. Im going to have to work hard on my mindset if I want to transfer in August. Its our last normal embryo (there is one more thats getting retested, but its unlikely its normal) as its been over three years, very expensive and were just not sure we can keep
going.

Hey everyone, just wanted to hop on this thread. Currently waiting for my AF to start my FET cycle. A little about me: we had 4 IVF ER cycles back in 2017 and 2018 to bank 5 normal embryos. We implanted one in 2018 which resulted in my DS in Jan 2019, and were now looking to make some siblings for him!

Hoping for a positive journey for everyone. More importantly, hoping for positive outcomes for everyone!

Sorry for the way youre feeling BabyforQ. I know its hard, but try to stay positive. Have you guys done ERA testing to make sure the timing of the transfer is right?

4 IVF cycles, 5 PGS tested "normal" 6-day blasts, 1 FET cycle so far..

Cycle stats in my "about me" page!

Welcome Firsttimeivfer!

I am planning on doing an ERA this cycle and have my baseline tomorrow. We will be trying a natural FET next time as my estrogen and progesterone levels were SUPER high.

Hi ladies- nice to see some familiar faces here (big big hugs to BabyforQ, we've been down this road so many times together!) Guess I'm now part of the August FET group!!!

Just finished up my third IVF cycle with a new doc/clinic/protocol/testing. My AMH is super low and we are so happy to learn we have one PGS normal high grade embryo to transfer smile.png

Dr recommended I do an ERA next cycle because I only have one embryo and have crazy estrogen issues. She is also recommending a letrozole only FET. So happy that I finally found a Dr that understands my crazy hormones!

Big hugs to all and let's grow some babies, ladies!

Welcome Misskika! I am thrilled to hear that you got a high grade normal embryo! WOOHOO. You must be so relieved especially after having to wait after the shut down!  You are at Hannam with Dr. G - right? I am also going to be doing an ERA this cycle with Letrozole (started Letrozole yesterday) and plan to do a more natural FET as well!

Has anyone else done a natural FET or Letrozole only cycle? I am worried about my lining thickening. Any suggestions?

Hey BabyforQ! Yes! We are Dr. G girls ha ha. Apparently she is trying a similar strategy with us!

I know that some ways to naturally thicken endometrial lining are 1) drinking raspberry leaf tea 3x per day, 2) Vitamin E & L-arganine supplements and 3) acupuncture. I plan on doing all of those to prep for the Letrozole transfer! Have you previously had issues with lining?

Thanks Misskikka! My lining has never gotten thicken that 8mm - and last time it was 7mm - but had the triliminar pattern. Who knows. I forgot about the raspberry leaf tea! Thanks - I will start today. I recently learned about L-Arganine and have started taking that as well. I'm also drinking Pom and Beet juice. I'm on the fence about doing acupuncture for my ERA cycle due to costs. Will you be doing it this cycle?

Hey BabyforQ- I will do acupuncture but not for ERA cycle, just the month of transfer :) The costs are a bit too much for me too given all we have spent this cycle at Hannam (I think you are prob in the same boat!) I'm focusing on the acupuncture right before and after transfer to help with implantation but not sure how that will work in these COVID times since they aren't allowed into the clinic! Raspberry leaf tea + supplements should hopefully help you out a bit :)

Good luck wannabeamama!!!!!

Welcome wannabeamama!

I had a lining check this morning as I prep for my ERA cycle. I have only been on Letrozole. It is day 11 and my lining has not thickened AT ALL. WTF! Apparently it is only 0.3 (mm or cm..who knows...not good either way!) I was told it was the same thickness as when I went in for my baseline. My estrogen levels are apparently normal - 75. I'm so confused. When I'm on Estrace my estrogen levels go too high and I still only get to 7mm. Ugh. If my lining doesn't thicken my Thursday they may cancel my ERA cycle. I'm hopeful that maybe things are just slow and things will pick up. I am literally doing all I can do: red raspberry leaf tea 3 x per day, vitamin E, Pom juice, Beet juice, L-Arginine and I even went for an acupuncture session late last week (tried a new spot). I mean I guess its better to have done this mock cycle so then at least we can figure out what my body needs...Its just such a roller coaster.

Jumping in because I had trouble with my lining before. I have heard of women using vaginal Viagra so not sure if that might be an option? For me (although I was able to take Estrace) my lining never got thick enough until they added Estradiol Valerate (its an injection) but not sure if that would cause your estrogen level to go too high. Hope your lining smartens up!! Good luck with it.

BabyforQ- wow that is super super frustrating! I hope Dr. G has a new trick up her sleeve to help your lining grow. But yes, at least this is a mock cycle and you can start to figure things out. Wishing you lots of lining growth- has anything new been recommended? Seems like Carter has some great advice!

Melissa- awesome! Wishing you lots of good vibes for this cycle!

I wait until I get my period now! Should come around the first week of August and if ERA is normal, we should be good for a transfer last week of August/first week of September!
