Blue I'm taking 12 mg vaginal estrace and am doing an estrogen patch every day.

Thats a lot of estrace! What are your estrogen levels? Have you tried vaginal viagra?

Ssb - last time I only tested in the middle of the night just before my beta. I was at a conference and didn't want to have to be thinking about it. Luckily it was positive. The 2ww is horrible.

Blue - one of the REs at my clinic has reviewed all info on protocol for thin lining management in literature and although vaginal Viagra may increase endometrial thickness it has zero effect on pregnancy rates. In long words...I think my clinic wouldn't recommend that protocol. Also at my clinic they don't measure estrogen through the FET cycle. I asked about it and was told that there is no data showing that it can be used as a quantitative tool in FETs...so my clinic says.

AFM though my transfer is going ahead on June 23rd after the RE reviewed all info. I am so happy but wish so much I had more direct contact with him. He is measured in his approach though so I trust his judgement.

Blue84 - congrats on being PUPO!! I do remember cycling with you back in November. Its tough being back here again, but hopefully this is our month!!

Returnable - I hope you get good news. My clinic has also said that some womens lining just doesnt get to 8mm. At least your lining is continuing to thicken! Do you know how long they will let you go and build your lining?

Hi everyone, can I please join in cycle buddies. I’m 35, I live in Australia (from reading, our ivf cycles run a little differently). This is my second ivf cycle, the first was in 2014, they collected 7 eggs only one lasted to 5 day transfer but was BFN (hooray I got an acronym right).

We had started the cycle in May but was cancelled and got to pick it up again at the end of June. This time I was on the highest dose and they collected 10 eggs, 8 were fertilised, by day 5 there were 3 but they had progressed slowly so we waited another day and then there was only one left which they transferred to me last Tuesday 9th June.
So now we wait, the odds are against us but I am feeling positive. My blood test is on Friday. I feel like I’m looking for symptoms in my body but apart from feeling tired and bad constant headaches from the progesterone I feel pretty normal.

Its hard because it’s unexplained so all of my tests are always normal but after years of trying and not trying I just feel my window closing. Babies really are such miracles.

Thanks, I promise I will get the acronyms.

returnable, that's good news you can transfer! the 23rd will come quickly, hopefully!

ssb, I totally relate to testing early. 3pdt is very early! Maybe try again in a few days and hopefully it will work!

BCMom and blue, hope you're also holding up ok in the TWW!

Steph, hope your u/s went well yesterday!

BabyforQ, hope you're doing well waiting for your lining check.

Welcome NessyA! I think you might find our cycles a little different in this thread since we are transferring embryos that were frozen. You might find more similar stories to your stimulation, retrieval, fresh transfer cycle in the May/June IVF thread. But you are welcome here! You and I are transfer buddies! smile.png Congrats on being PUPO! (pregnant until proven otherwise)

As for acronyms, they do take a while to learn. Here's a list of them!

As for me, I have been testing since Sunday, and have been getting faint second lines since yesterday (6 and 7 dpt). smile.png First time I've ever seen a positive this early or resulting from an IVF cycle (that didn't involve HCG support), so I am cautiously optimistic. Still a long way to go.

NessyA - welcome! Hopefully this is your lucky transfer.

Daisy - uuuhhh that does seem like a good indication. Fingers crossed!

Blue - I got the go ahead for transfer so now they won't measure the thickness any more.

Steph - I hope your lining check went okay.

Hi All!  Sorry I didn't update yesterday - my lining check went well!  I am so relieved.  I can't remember what the thickness was - I thought the doctor said .9 but it all happened quickly.  All I really heard was "your lining looks good, you can transfer".  LOL.  Today is my last day of Suprefact, so no more injections, which is another plus.

And - My transfer will be on Monday (June 22).

NessyA - welcome to the group!

Daisy - I feel like that is a good indication as well - I know it's early, but fingers crossed!  And thank you for the updated list, that is very helpful.

Returnable - I'm so glad your transfer is going ahead!  That's good news.

And I’m going to bow out, I started bleeding heavily last night and took a test this morning and it’s BFN, haven’t stopped bleeding. It’s all over for me.

I wish you all the very best of luck with your cycles and I hope for best outcome for you, happy healthy little babies.

Hi Ladies!  Sooo I was on a conference call this morning at 9am when I normally take Estradiol, and for the life of me cannot remember if I took it or not.  ugh.  The pill bottle is sitting on my desk and I truly can't remember.  Has anyone done this?  Would you take them now, with a chance of doubling up, or just wait until your next dosage?  (9 pm tonight).

I called the clinic to ask, and I'll see what they say, but was curious if anyone else has done this before.

I'm not sure if it's the meds or what, but I am so forgetful lately.  I have forgotten meetings, tasks, etc. things that I would normally never forget about.   Hopefully it's the meds and I'm not going crazy.

I need one of those old-people pill organizers to keep this all straight.  :/

The clinic just had me take them when I remembered - they said it wasn't a big deal.  Will be sure to be more careful/aware from now on :/

I wouldnt worry too much Steph! Better to take more than not enough.

AFM - Ive been testing since 4dp5dt and getting faint lines! They are getting darker each day :) Ive been using ultra sensitive internet cheapies and first response tests. Can you tell I am a testaholic haha? Now just to make it to beta day! Hope everyone is doing well.

Steph - glad that it was not too bad of a mix-up.

Ssb77 - looks promising.

How is everyone doing symptom wise before and after transfer? I started PIO today and so far so good. DH does them. There is no way I could do it myself.

returnable - I think the estrogen leading up to transfer made me feel just off - like sort of like I was getting a cold and run down. I most definitely gained weight on it too, unfortunately! Not sure if its just bloat/water retention, or maybe I just ate more lol. Progesterone didnt seem to affect me too much before the transfer (just doing suppositories, no PIO).

Daisy - I forgot to say congrats! Hope your beta goes well.

Nessy - Im so sorry to hear what you are going through :( Hugs!

Hi FET ladies, crashing your forum.

I'm from the May/June IVF group and thought I would find buddies here since I'm in the 2WW now. I'm 3dp5dt and I transferred two embies 3AA and 3BB. RE doesn't think the 3BB will implant. But either way, I don't feel any symptoms not even the twitching that others mention feeling. Combined with my achy ovaries from the retrieval I've no idea what's going on in my body sad.png

I'm a little worried but trying to hold on hope. I think I will start testing soon- don't know if I can hold off anymore.

Hey Daisy and ssb77     Congrats on the lines!

Returnable   Yippee for PIO lol

bibz      I know what you mean about not knowing what is going on in your body......its a crazy guessing game.  You are still very early on!  Good luck!

Steph    I have found myself to be very forgetful on these meds also!  You are not alone!

I am so losing it.  Tomorrow is beta thank god (sorta).  I have been so demoralized by the last two negatives and the miscarriage that I cant even seem to imagine this working.  I felt like I had some cramping days four and five and a few symptoms here and there along the way (that can be attributed just as easily to the PIO).  With my bfp I just seemed to KNOW.  So I had given up already until  (7dp5dt) at around one pm yesterday  when I got some spotting (also once this morning).  It does not feel like it corellates to the endometrin....and the color is different, more like IB is said to look like.  Have never in my other three transfers plus mock cycle had this before.  But who knows?  And of course I had an accident with the medication that makes me wonder if that caused the spotting and its not IB.  Yesterday at 7am my hubby went to give me my shot and half way through the needle detached and some of the PIO came out (apparently, I could not see so have to take his word for it lol)  So he told me we needed about half more and thats what we did.  And since then I have had more cramping etc which I also had day before and day after last shot (every three days)  Progesterone actually prevents bleeding correct?  So that should not be causing it even if I ended up with a little bit more.   Anyways sorry for this I just want this to work so bad and I am probably making myself have hope when I shouldnt.

Thanks for listening to my rambling!  How\s everyone else doing?

BCMom sorry for your spotting episodes. I'm not sure that progesterone drop causes bleeding as for me if I stay longer on just the estrace to build my lining I never bleed. I think (though I am not qualified) that estrogen drop causes onset of bleeding. Progesterone keeps your uterus from contracting, so I would think a noticeable drop would cause cramping. Those are my two cents.

Thanks for the input returnable

So if anything i used a little bit more progesterone not less so there would not be a drop...and i am taking my estrogen same as before....but maybe an imbalance in estrogen/progesterone ratio? I am of course hoping that it was from implantation but its a bit of a coincidence....

@BCmom agree the increase in progesterone shoudn't lead to bleeding as it helps build the uterine wall. Perhaps you are right it is an imbalance of sorts. All the best and hang in there!

Hello Everyone, I am new here and wanted to say Hi. Currently 4dp5dt I am not feeling much of anything different (have had the soreness and occasional twinges since starting the meds, a couple extra sharp quick ones since the transfer but could just be something I ate!) knowing better, I still took an expired test which came up negative. For the first 48 hours after the transfer I felt like I was carrying something I needed to protect, and now I have to remind myself what is going on because my body isn’t feeling much.  Any further recommendations\experience for or against serial testing and how to stay sane during this interesting time? Wishing you all the best!

My beta is today too and Im really nervous about the lack of symptoms. My estrogen and progesterone were tested at 7dpt and my p was 517! Ive never heard of it being so high (Im on 75 mg pio daily). So aside from feeling tired thirsty and sore boobs (all pio related), Im getting a bit worried 😬
