Hello,

Just curious what supplements and dosage are you guys taking in prep for IVF?

For me, I am taking these for 2 months now and I am not sure if the dosages are enough

  • D3 1000UI
  • Vitamin E 200UI
  • Folic Acid 400mcg
  • Ubiquinol 200mg

Thinking of adding Omega 3 (DHA and EPA) soon.

Thanks!

Hi Summervibe!

My naturopath has me on Omega 3, Vitamin D (1000iu), NAC (500mg) with ALA (600mg), L-Carnitine (1600mg), Prenatal with folate, Pycnogenol (200mg) & Theracumin (60mg). I think the supplements need to be different given your underlying issues. For me I have problems with egg quality, DOR, inflammation/endometriosis and naturally high estrogen, so these are tailored to my body. Highly recommend working with a naturopath who understands what may be right for your specific condition :)

I am taking;
- dhea 25mg qd
- CoQ10 600mg
- prenatal
- folate 1000 every 3-4 days to supplement prenatal
- pterostilbene
- Trugen 300mg
- D3 1000

I know its a lot. But researched extensively and mostly with no side effects. RE says zero SE which is not possible, but have to work on improving the egg quality.

Please share if anybody has any opinion or experience !!

I don't know about some of the others but I had lots of side effects after a couple of months of DHEA.

Hey Returnable- my doc prescribed testosterone gel during priming for this very reason (re DHEA). Apparently it is more effective, works quicker and less side effects than DHEA. May be worth checking out!

Thanks but we are near the end of our journey with two more frosties and then we're done.
