Any one did surrogacy outside of canada? What to keep in mind while getting the contract done from Canadian immigration perspective since we would be bringing the child with us to canada. We are permanent residents not citizens yet. It will be a sponsorship application for the child.
Any kind of direction would be appreciated on this topic as I totally have no idea. Most the lawyers I spoke with have inputs on Canadian surrogacy but not international.

I can't help with 1st hand experiences, but I read that many couples visit  Ukraine or Georgia to have a baby via surrogacy. Even there is an active thread on fertilityfriends when couples exchange info and experiences.
