I had my chemical and my HCG was under 20 and it took a out a week to get back at 3...so it could possibly be trigger. I'd test again in a few days to see if it's dark or lighter

MoJo,
I broke down and tested yesterday with a seven months expired FRER and got a very faint line! Today, 6dp5dt, its slightly darker (with a non expired test). So far so good! I was so convinced it hadnt worked because I didnt have the specific cramping I had the other two times I got pregnant. Mostly feeling normal but stomach feels odd (not nausea or cramps but maybe tightness), and I have noticed my legs seem shaky, which hasnt happened before. I also had a sudden drop in weight (2 lbs, which isnt usual for me) a few days after transfer, which also happened last time. That could easily be from the hormones though.

IVF#1 (April 2017): retrieved one egg, fresh 3-day transfer, missed miscarriage around 7 weeks, D&C

IVF#2 (Sept 2017): retrieved 23 eggs, 22 mature, 18 fertilized, 3 frozen on day 5, no transfer

FET#1 (Nov 2017): one grade 3 blast (upgraded to grade 2 at transfer), first β-HCG of 751 at 12dp5dt, delivered my son at 39w6d by unplanned c-section

FET#2 (Feb 2020): one grade 2 early blast, first β-HCG of 480 at 11dp5dt. 7w3d ultrasound showed embryo measuring 7w2d with a heart rate of 153. Heart rate at 12w5d: 148, at 16w4d: 147

Congrats! I’m not convinced at all yet because of that stupid trigger but we shall see what the next few days bring

Oh, right. Hopefully you can see it starting to get dark soon. I tested out my trigger once and it never went negative, but just got lighter and then darker again

That sounds promising! I wouldn't likely get darker if it was just the trigger.

Same darkness this morning (maybe tiny bit darker but still crazy faint). Guessing it’s still that stupid trigger

Tarsette - Welcome! With low dose stims, is it done over a longer period of time as well?

IreneT - Congratulations on your positive!

Nicky123 - Fingers crossed for you that it's a positive not the trigger!

AFM: I started my estrogen last Friday and the dose increased on Tuesday of this week and will again on Sunday. I've been getting terrible headaches almost every afternoon. I don't know if that's a side effect but I don't remember headaches from last time. Ultrasound will be next Thursday so hoping for the best.

Hi everyone,
First off good luck to all the ladies who are currently PUPO and waiting for your bfp ! I know how hard it is waiting, sending lots of love your way!

A bit about me- I did IVF in nov. but no transfer due to severe ohss. First fet was in early January which resulted in a miscarriage at about 7 weeks. Honestly still healing from it as it was so recent, but Ive gotten my period again and have decided to go ahead with another FET this March. I begin estrace and ASA today, likely transfer date sometime near end of March. Very nervous this go around after the recent loss but also excited to be moving forward again.

Hello everyone and wishing us all healthy December babies!

Me: 27  DH: 27   Diagnosis: Unexplained

  • Started TTC: Jan. 2017
  • First medicated IUI: July 2019= BFN
  • Second medicated IUI: August 2019 = BFN
  • IVF/ICSI: Dec 2019 = 4 conventional IVF blastocysts + 3 ICSI blastocysts,  frozen at 5 days. No fresh transfer due to OHSS
  • First FET: Jan. 2020 = BFP resulting in a pregnancy loss at 7 weeks

Good luck to all the ladies currently in the 2WW. I remember how awful that was from last time round! And never lose hope even with a negative test: for my first IVF, I tested on 10dp3dt and got zero line, not even a faint one. So I went out and even had a couple glasses of wine. Next morning, I went in for my blood test...and i was pregnant with our beautiful daughter! So everything is possible until you have that blood test!

ScarlettRae: Ive tried a lot of things (Viagra, oestrogen taken in every imaginable form, raspberry leaf tea, Coq10, vitamin E, aspirin) but never acupuncture! I should probably give it a try, it cant hurt!

CRMivf: the reason I get low dose stims is that it encourages my body to produce more oestrogen (my body somehow doesnt seem to be able to process the synthetic form of oestrogen). I actually get the low dose stims shots for a shorter period than usual (from day 2 to 12). If the lining is thick enough (fingers crossed, I had a cycle cancelled in July because it stayed stubbornly at 6mm) I will then get the trigger shot and transfer 5 days later...

Hi ladies, I had my scan and a mock transfer today, lining at 9.2. My cervix is closing up from the dilation done January 31. But RE said it's better than the previous times I have transfered. My transfer date is March 19, in 13 days.

Welcome to the newcomers :)

IreneT and Nicky123 - that's so exciting! Sounds like you got your BFPs!!

I did my transfer on Mar 4. I was really worried it would get cancelled because I got a terrible UTI the day before my transfer. I used to get them all the time so I knew that's what it was. But the clinic didn't say anything about cancelling, they just asked me to do a urinalysis to see if I should take antibiotics. It was getting better the next day thankfully, although waiting in the waiting room with a full bladder was still pretty uncomfortable.

My blood test is scheduled for 9dp5dt, on Mar 13 so really only a 1.5-week wait. Planning on using a FRER the morning before that though. That's when I got my BFP with my son last time.

Hello everyone!

I'm stephanie and I transferred on march 3rd. I transferred a single embryo that got stuck in the catheter and had to try again to get out.
Hoping it stays sticky!

I have a 2 year old son from my second fet. This transfer was fet 4 off the same retrieval cycle.

Good luck to everyone!

Hello everyone,
Jumping here from February group. Wish everyone easy transfer and quick 2ww!
About myself: I am new in IVF world. Suddenly got diagnosed with DOR on my side (I am 32 years old) and elevated prolactin plus motility issue on my husband's side in August 2019. Having DOR we decided to proceed straight to IVF without loosing time on IUIs. Completed IVF cycle in November that brought us 4 embryos that reduced to 2 after PGS testing.
Tried to do FET cycle on January but it was cancelled due to ovulation happened on estrace. So protocol was changed to include lupron shot to make sure ovulation won't happens again. I got 7.6mm lining thickness on day 14 and transfer completed on February 25.
I am currently 13dp6dt. Tested on day 10 and got BFP - solid dark line, even darker than control line. My beta is scheduled for day 14. So hopping that numbers are good!

Hi all,

I had my FET yesterday so currently 1dp5dt. This is my third transfer - eSET, medicated, Jan 2018 with my embryo (I was 38) and BFN, double FET, natural cycle with trigger & progesterone support, May 2018 with my embryos and became pregnant with DS (he is 13 months now), and just completed an eSET, repeat natural cycle, with my wifes embryos (34 at time of retrieval) yesterday.

So far slight crampiness but Im sure that is from the FET. Trigger shot has not tested out but I think I may stop testing so as to not cause myself anxiety.

I tried acupuncture pre and post transfer for this cycle - did anybody find it to be beneficial for them?

Beta will be 3/17.

5 medicated IUIs in 2017 - BFN

IVF Retrieval in Nov 2017 - resulted in 3 PGS tested embryos

FET #1 January 2018 - eSET - BFN

FET #2 April 2018 - Double Embryo Transfer - BFP!

DS born 1/25/2019

FET #3 March 2020 (with wife's embryo) - eSET - Beta 205 @ 10dp5dt yahoo.gif

This feels like a dumb question but... usually my cycle starts spotting in the pm, full flow in the am..or full flow in the am...today at 2pm my period started, it's red, but still light...sooo is today CD1 or would that be tomorrow?
