Tabkay, may I ask why your clinic does not recommend multiples? I know a number of clinics, including mine, does.

They dont encourage, however they didnt make any recommendations.
I am 29, with unexplained.
My last FET was successful but m/c at 5.5 weeks.
I decided to go ahead with single embryo this time too.

Nicole, we had 7 five day blasts in the end and we had one transferred!
My clinic is the same as TabKay's, they do not encourage transferring more than one embryo because pregnancies with multiples can be more complicated.
My 2 week wait is almost over, I have 2 more sleeps until blood test day!!
I have done a home test in the past before an FET blood test, but I am choosing not to with this since all the stimulating meds I took might give me a false positive. The waiting is killing me though lol
Good luck everyone!

Tab- hopefully u will get your bfp soon.
Afm- One of our morulas turned into a blast but too low of quality to freeze. One Morula made it to a hatching blast today of great quality and is in the freezer. They are still watching one more morula and will find out tomorrow. Praying we get 1 more in the freezer so we have 2. This whole process is torture! After my 7th transfer, Im ready to be done with this and finally enjoy a pregnancy. Hopefully we all will.

We have opted to do IVF instead of reversal . I have very regular periods and no issues conceiving my first child.
Has anyone else gone through IVF with male having vasectomy ? If so what was your success rate .

Welcome. We weren’t able to salvage any sperm so we used a donor

I got my result, BFN.
Hubby got the call because I was working...
I guess fresh transfers are not always as successful as the frozen but we'd really gotten our hopes up anyway.
I'm disappointed...
I think we will try an FET in the summer when it will be easier to take time off for appointments and we've had time to save some money.
Good luck to all, this is not an easy process.

Afm; still to early to test. Only 4dp3dt. I got my day 7 call and I have another early blast that was frozen today. Then I go another call 5 minutes later and the embryologist said they went to discard the dish if embroys they though arrested and found a expanded blast in there! I was shocked because I already though they threw all the other ones away. So I have 3 frosties. Helps me feel relaxed now so if this fresh transfer dont work there r backups!

Sorry guys. This journey can suck sometimes! Had my baseline yesterday and everything looks aok so I start stims tonight and then back next week for another u/s and b/w. Anyone know the average amount of time people need to be on stims for? I have meds for 7 days and will get more if I need them

Nicky123 it depends on your clinic and what meds you're on.
It was 10-11 days at my clinic as part of a short protocol.
Good luck!

I tested at home and BFN so I kind of know I am out. ;(
Feeling defeated but I am glad I tested coz I can prepare myself for that bfn call.
