Hi everyone
I'm new to ivf
I was supposed to go through the stim meds now (Nov)
But my dr decided I should do dhea based on my amh of 8.4
So he wants me on vitamins, supplements and the dhea until January 2020.
Here's my question. I really wanted to do the stim now (Nov) and the transfer in Jan for 2 reasons. 1. Frozen embryos have a higher chance of live birth
2. I can go through with the transfer in January 2020
How common is the problem unable to go through with the embryo transfers because they're still too stimulated from the follicle meds?
The transfer needs to happen in January (can't do Feb or March)
Anyone know?
Anyone able to calm down my nerves?

What is your follicle count?
I had an AMH similar to yours but a higher AFC (15-20) and I ended up with high estrogen and decided to to a FET. They claim they didn't hypserstim me but I think they did a bit. Can't really complain because overall we've had excellent results.
I don't mean to throw a wet blanket on you but your plans almost always take back seat to something else when it comes to IVF. Even if you get am excellent embryo in time for a January transfer, there is only 40-65% chance of that making a viable pregnancy.
