Hi All!

I had an embryo transfer today.  I had two transferred because when they thawed the first embryo it was very slow to bounce back but once they thawed the second embryo it did the same thing.  I'm  a little nervous.

Daisy.Eriksen- I'm so sorry you didn't get your BFP. Sending you virtual hugs ***

Teanerbop- congrats! So happy that you beta went up :)

SynchroGirl- congrats on the BFP! What am amazing feeling it must be after 16 years of ttc.

singlemamatobe- don't stress too much about the spotting- it's very normal as you said. I had it with my pregnancy.
Bb2018- I hope one of those embies get stronger to be your BFP.

AFM- I decided to wait another day to do the HPT bc I did it on 11dp5dt with my DD, so I wanted to do it on the same day for good luck!

Hey everyone,

Had my beta yesterday in the super early morning and it was 113! Also got admitted to the hospital for moderate OHSS and badly needed to get drained today. Im on my second night here. They removed 3.9L of fluid!! Im lying here hoping and praying its not coming back... theyre going to do another beta check tomorrow morning.

Teanerbop- yay! Im so glad to hear the beta numbers are up and well!

Adrian555 - hope you had a smooth and easy transfer!

Daisy- sorry to hear about the chemical, sending love and well wishes your way

Synchrogirl - congratulations on the fabulous news and amazing experience along with it! The way I found out was the emerg doctor running through a report with me that also had the beta number in it. 🤷🏻‍♀

bb2018 - good luck with those two embryos! Heres hoping they can figure themselves out and get you a nice strong BFP

Singlemamatobe- hope the spotting is gone and everything is well

Mamasita, good luck with the HPT tomorrow!

Thanks synchrogirl and singlemamatobe. OHSS is destroying me. I have to get drained every other day until it gets better. The only peace I get is when hydromorphone and gravol knock me out. Ive found new depths of misery.

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope the holidays are treating you all well! Thank you for the well wishes too- Im back at home, living in a different circle of misery now. Theyve drained about 10L so far. Ten!! I cannot believe how much fluid was just hanging out there. Im on injectable blood thinners to avoid clots, but the worst part right now is how swollen my legs and crotch especially is. I cannot sit or stand, its that swollen! I have literally one pair of PJ pants that I can still get on. What is this OHSS curse?!? Back in the clinic tomorrow..

Treasuretroll- congratulations on a wonderful Christmas morning present!! What a wonderful feeling that must have been.

chenny- thinking and praying for all the best for your blood test on the 27th!

Mamasita - Im so sorry to hear. I hope you and your family had a peaceful Christmas.

Daisy - Im so sorry to hear about your BFN as well. This journey is sure an endurance sport. I hope you also had a peaceful Christmas and that your next steps, whatever they may be, are straightforward and most importantly, effective.

Chenny - thinking of you today!

Elation - Im so sorry! OHSS while pregnant is miserable. It will pass but it takes time. It took a full month for me (but I didnt require hospitalization).

AFM - getting over gastro...it took us out one by one over Christmas. Im feeling better overall but still nauseous and wondering if its pregnancy or the bug 🤷🏼‍♀. The body is mysterious.

Omg Elation.. having so much fluid and draining sounds really awful. I feel so bad for you! :( Are you at home or have you had to stay in the hospital? Fingers crossed that was your last draining. Im feeling ok, just a bit tired but not really having symptoms.. wishing I could do a second beta to make sure all is well. Have you been able to have any further tests with the hospital?

Thanks Synchrogirl, I was released from the hospital after three days, but had to make daily morning visits to the clinic for bloodwork and ultrasound for monitoring. I think it was my last draining 🤞🤞 my weight has finally started to drop. About 10lbs in two days, I feel like its a good start.

I cant distinguish symptoms either! They did not follow up with me after my second beta, but they were assuring me things were fine and focused only on my OHSS symptoms instead. I have a seven week ultrasound next week. When is your next follow up?

Elation- that is so much fluid! You must be drained (sorry punn not intended). So exhausting for you.

I just had my first beta and it was 4000. They don't need a second one from me since it's a bit later. Normally world have done my first beta on Dec 28th but due to the holidays they were closed. So my ultrasound is booked for Thursday the 9th... Super nervous now as my last ultrasound ended up with bad news. Fingers crossed!

Happy Nee Year everyone. Sorry that Ive got MIA. With the holidays and having family in out of town, Ive been a little busy. Yesterday I had my 6wk ultrasound and it went well. They confirmed pregnancy and said that baby was measuring 5wks 5days. The heartbeat could be seen but baby was too small to hear heartbeat. I go back in 2 weeks to hear the heartbeat.

Elation - Im glad that things are going better for you.

Treasuretroll - My fingers are crossed for you too on your ultrasound date. 4000 is an awesome number.

Thanks treasuretroll, teanerbop. Im thankful that Im finally starting to feel better. I definitely giggled about being ... drained 😂 glad I can laugh about that now.

They warned me that because of the swelling, the first ultrasound may not be very clear. Its scheduled for next Tuesday.

Treasuretroll- that is a great first beta! Good luck with the upcoming ultrasound. Fingers crossed for you.

Teanerbop- glad the holidays were full and that your first ultrasound went well! I hear it is common that it is too early to hear a heartbeat at that stage.

Elation - so glad you are through the worst!

I had my ultrasound on Friday and it looks like everything is good. One baby, HR 147. Im cautiously optimistic and hopefully I can get my hands on the report tomorrow. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Im feeling really ill so I am taking it as a good sign but I am also realllyyyyy ready to exercise and am not sure what I can do. Super happy to have this problem 😊

Hope everyone is doing ok ❤
