Misskika007 - I think the increased doses of progesterone and estrogen play with my system as well but I'll do whatever it takes to make this work! IMy clinic recommends vitamin D from the get go, a minimum of 800mg on top of what is in the prenatal. I am taking 2000mg right now as my OB recommended that amount (if not more) so I figured it couldn't hurt. I also added Vitamin E and B6 as I read it can help with progesterone levels (I'll try anything at this point).

YaenaSK - I swear by massages as well - I did acupuncture for my fresh and last FBT but decided I'll forego this time around as I didn't notice any benefit for my FBT.

Dory - I did my fresh (successful) and first FBT on day 6 of progesterone but aftter my horrible blood work results during my FBT, my Dr. ordered a mock cycle with endometrial biopsy. They determined based on those results it would be best to transfer on day 7 so that's what we'll try this time.

BabyforQ - My clinic now does weekly progesterone/estrogen blood work if warranted after the transfer. I found it so nerve wracking last time (I was hoping it would provide some relief) because my numbers were low and they were constantly upping my meds. I questioned why they do it and my nurse told me the jury is even still out whether it is reuqired or provides better outcomes. I have 2 friends who recently becam pregnant via IVF and both had low progesterone and estrogen, mostly bounced back up by beta day but a good example that its not a definitive indicator - I'm still looking forward to getting it and almost want to ask more the tests more often than every 7 days but if they won't let me take more than 900mg of progesterone, there really isn't a point, right? LOL I also got my flu shot last week and never thought to mention it to my clinic so I'm going to just assume it is OK

AFM, I had my CD2 monitoring appointment this morning - zzzz, as I have to get up at 5:30am, drive almost 2 hours for my 7:30am appointment sad.png All looked good though and I got the go ahead to start dexa and estrogen. My lining check is on November 12 smile.png

Happy Halloween!

Hi all! Im transferring in November as well, likely the first week.

MissKikka, Im sorry about your chemical last month. Fingers crossed things go better in November!

Elspeth - I did the ERA as well and need 6 days of progesterone. I did 6 days with my last transfer, but it didnt work (but likely just the embryo). Always good to have more answers!

OakvilleMama - sorry about your September cycle. So hard after putting your body through so much and spending so much. Fingers crossed for this FET!

AFM - Ive had three failed FETs so far. Our last retrieval only got us one Low level mosaic embryo, so we will be transferring that with all our hopes and prayers. Im on estrace, baby aspirin, prednisone + calcium and did and intralipid infusion on Wednesday. Had my lining check today and Im at 7mm. Back Monday to check my progress. Hopefully Ill be ready to start PIO next week.

Hi - just wanted to let you know that I am 5 weeks along with a low level mosaic as well (or I suppose I dont know for sure as I transferred two mosaics, one was high level... the low level was hatching at transfer time, so just assuming thats our success so far). In any case, from everything I read, the chances of successful pregnancy after implantation for mosaics seems to be similar to PSG normals. Wish you the very best of luck with your transfer + will be following along! Im 44 - eggs all collected while I was 43. Ive had one failed FET with a PGS normal, so this is our last chance.

BabyforQ- Great news!! Like I said, my PGS normal that failed was not hatching on its own and the mosaic that was hatching worked, so I think thats a very good sign for you. Congratulations on being PUPO! Im thinking about you. Also, I tested at 6dp6dt and got a stark white and thought I was out...was quite devastated - didnt repeat until 9dp6dt and then got a clear line. Are you doing HPTs?

Congratulations Newtothis11 as well! All the best + patience for you 2WW.

BabyforQ - Congratulations! And so great that the embryo was already hatching. Fingers crossed for both you and newtothis.

When are your betas?

Dory - happy transfer day to you too!

Just cooling my heels and hating the estrace over here. Like Misskika, counting the days until the progesterone gets added in! Headaches and nausea and now breakouts, oh my (sounds like a bad hormonal twist on a children's book). Transfer is tentatively scheduled for the morning of the 19th, so long as the lining check on the 13th goes well.

Hi all - thought I would join too :) We're doing a natural FET with a euploid blast. I've already completed two LITs and will also have an IVIG prior to transfer. This protocol gave us our second daughter during our last transfer so fingers crossed it will work again. There was some debate about having another ERA, but both have shown that I'm a +7 day transfer so I'm hoping nothing has changed. We'll most likely be transferring next week as I'm on day 16 of my cycle and am just waiting for LH surge. Good luck to all of us! :) ps - has anyone had any luck following this thread? I clicked on the link and nothing...

IVF 1 - cancelled, oversuppressed

IVF 2 - cancelled, ovulated through stims

IVF 3 - BFP, welcomed beautiful baby girl

FET 1 - 1 blast, BFN

FET 2 - 1 blast BFP, chemical

FET 3 - 2 blasts, BFN

IVF 4 - adding in PGS this time, two PERFECT blasts transferred, BFN

ERA revealed implantation window is off by 2 days

IVF 5 - cancelled, ridiculously bad growth compared to other cycles

IVF 6 - transfer cancelled, all 11 blasts came back genetically abnormal

getting second opinion/changing clinics...the story continues...

IVF 7 - 34 retrieved, 7 day 5 blasts, 6 PGS NORMAL!!!

FET 4 - 1 euploid blast (4BB), BFN

Immune testing - NK cells too high, LADs too low - 3 LITS + IVIG recommended and completed

ERA testing shows that lining is receptive for 7.5dt

FET 5 - 1 euploid blast (3ABO), BFP

BETA #1 - 10dp5dt 252

BETA #2 - 12dp5dt 559

everything is crossed...

Welcomed another beautiful baby girl

FET 6 - 1 euploid blast (3BAO), BFP

BETA #1 - 13dp5dt 420

Welcomed our 3rd beautiful baby girl

Our journey is complete.  What a wild ride.

Hey everyone!! Glad to say my transfer is done and I'm officially pupo!! I had two embryos transferred that were thawed at 100 percent and expanded nicely. The embryologist said that one was starting to hatch as well. Now all I have to do is wait and pray this works!!!!!! Hoping I can hold off at least a week before peeing on a stick!
Babyforq-congrats on the great embryo transfer! Let the tww begin!!
Yaena-thanks!! How's everything going with you?

IUI- tried 4 times with no luck

Welcome elephantshoes! I hit follow after you mentioned it in your post, and it seems to be working for me now - I wasn't sure at first either.

Dory - YAY! Pupo! I really hope this is the one (or two???) for you. Such a long road this year. I can't believe we have been through what? One IVF cycle and now this is our third transfer together? We really are cycle buddies. I'd say it's about time to add a pregnancy to that list. What movie did you see today?  I am feeling okay-ish - never love estrace but I am trying to make peace with it. I did craniosacral therapy today, and feel asleep for the first time ever during any kind of massage/treatment. I am trying hard to work on the whole "mind body connection" while I wait - I know in the end it all comes down to science, but I'm trying to create as welcoming an environment for my little embaby as I can.

Congrats on being PUPO Dory!!! Great to hear that your blasts were looking so good. When is your beta? Mine is Nov. 17. Ill likely wait until then and relish in being PUPO...but thats what I say today! Lol
Been eating my big piece of pineapple everyday and keeping it low key. Back to work tomorrow. Been feeling quite crampy the past two days, but I can only think thats a good thing. Could be the progesterone, but didnt feel it this much before the transfer, so 🤞🙏

Hey everyone! I've been out of commission the past few days so I'm trying to catch up...sending positive vibes to everyone - especially all the PUPO!!!!

AFM - I appear to have had an allergic reaction to the vaginal estrace I was taking. My last cycle I took it and found I was a bit itchy (mainly my hands and arms) for about two days and then it settled. This time around was the same, except the itching came back so much worse. I even started getting hives! I was really hoping to push through and not have to change my meds part way through a cycle but the clinic told me no more! They switched me to a patch so hopefully my lining does ok with that unsure.png  My husband was pure panicked and wanted to park in the hospital parking lot until the drug was out of my system lol. Hopefully this is the only issue this cycle!

Oh wow Carter - are you feeling better now? That would definitely freak me out! Fingers crossed your lining doesn't even notice the difference!

BabyforQ - I count cramps as a good sign too :) I always had some crampiness for the first week almost after a transfer (and like you, don't notice it until transfer) - and I have had good implantation luck!

Struggling a bit with side effects here - I also have to stop anxiety medication to cycle (my RE convinced me not to last cycle, and now we can't 100% rule it out as a factor in the MC so I am making sure it is well out of my system before transfer this time). Thankfully they should only last a week or less, and I am already up to my holding estrogen dose so the nausea and headaches from that should settle a bit soon too. A week to go to lining check!

Hi all, been a while, had some deadlines that I needed to focus on.

Congrats to all those who have transferred and welcome to those new to the group! Here is to hoping everyone has a lucky month.

Carter- oh my goodness, that sounds absolutely terrible. I hope the patch works well for you. Seems like you are an estrogen hater too? wink.png

Yaena- I'm with you. Nausea, heartburn, fatigue and lack of appetite/ravishing appetite (depending on my mood) over here. Heartburn became so bad that I am now on pantoprazole again. This happened my last FET and as soon as I started the progesterone/lowered the Estrace, all symptoms gone. Can't wait for Sunday when (hopefully) prog will begin. Hang in there! Totally understand about the anxiety meds- I weened off mine before my first egg retrieval in April and have found some balance with trying to be present/breathing, yoga, meditation, hikes and passionflower tablets. Sometimes it surges and I need to go hole myself somewhere I can ground. How do you feel about getting off the meds? What strategies will you use?

AFM- Just finished a big consulting project lifting a big weight off my shoulders. I'm also doing a PhD and writing my proposal, highly DO NOT recommend this life choice during IVF as I seem to have lost all my creative juices due to medication and general IVF stress. My acupuncturist seems to think this has something to do with sacral chakra energy, so she wants me to wear and visualize orange all the time. I'm not sure how I feel about that, think I just need this transfer/IVF thing to work lol. Lining check on Friday, here is hoping things will be good to go Friday the 15th!

Me: 36, Hub: 36

Beginning 3rd IVF cycle- hopefully 3rd time's a charm! heart.gif

BabyforQ- my beta is scheduled for Nov.16. I won't be waiting that long to test. I usually try to wait until 7dp5dt. Think you'll be able to hold out until the 17th?

Yaena-I actually didn't get to go to a movie. My brother came down from Edmonton to visit me so we just did a bit of shopping and a bit of catching up! It was nice! Sorry you are struggling with the side effects :( Only one more week and you'll be feeling better hopefully! I really hope we both get our positives this time!!!!

Carter- sorry to hear about your allergic reaction! If it's not one thing, it's another lol Hope the patch is working well for you! When will you be transferring?

Afm- feeling a few twinges here and there but trying not to look too deep into them. I think I had this after every frozen transfer but not sure lol. I think I convince myself I'm pregnant every time and then I get let down so this time I'm trying to remain neutral on the whole "side effect" stuff. I hope this week flys by lol

Misskika - do you get pelvic cramping too? I remember this from last time, but I spent several days positive I was ovulating through it (I wasn't, just estrace-induced cramping). I am trying to think of it as a sign my lining is getting nice and thick. But yup - counting the days until endometrin starts! Should hopefully be a week from tomorrow.

As for grounding - I find I always flounder a bit at first. I am trying to get into yoga this time, and evening meditations/sleep stories (with an app) to help with the insomnia. Too cold here for hikes but I used to get out for walks daily with DD - it is going to temporarily warm up later this week so I can get a few in. What are passionflower tablets?

Dory - a visit sounds better than a movie! Glad you were able to relax afterwards at least! I hear you on trying not to read into symptoms. I find I do that every time. I remember reading an article online that was basically "how I go crazy after every FET" and it was so true (from promising she wouldn't read into things, to reading into them, to googling, to HPTs - I almost cried I laughed so hard!). Edit - I found it! https://www.babble.c...-two-week-wait/

Hi Everyone! Thank you to whoever started this support group as I am sure I will really need it! I have lost my mom and my sister lives far away so Im turning to online support as I do my first FET on November 10! My husband and I have conceived naturally once but it resulted in a miscarriage so we turned to IVF. We did PGT testing on six text book good embryos but only one survived and is now frozen. So I am literally putting all my eggs in one basket! I am also doing acupuncture and seeing the natural path to assist me and I have a registered massage scheduled for the day before. It will be a natural cycle for me. Just taking Aspirin 81 1x daily as well as Medrol 16mg 2x daily and Ciprofloxacin 250mg my progestrone is to start in day of transfer. Really hope it goes well keep me in your thoughts and prayers as you all are in mine! Any food suggestions to help aid implantation?! Ive heard of Brazilian nuts and pineapple.

Anyone else on the tww slowing driving themselves crazy? Today is 4dp5dt and I'm just dying to take a test. I'm not going to but the urge is there. Also, I don't want to test because I don't want to see a negative result and I really don't know if I'm going to do another transfer. Ahhhh! I don't feel any side effects only what is caused by the progesterone which is the same as every other time I've done a fet, which in turn was a negative. I keep telling myself I didn't feel any different when I was pregnant with my son so that helps a bit! Hopefully I can keep myself busy to get through the weekend! I'm going to test at 7dp5dt. That should bring an accurate result, right?
