Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after finding out their gestational sac was measuring small?
I had my first U/S today, at 7w3d, and the baby is measuring 6w6d while the sac is only measuring 5w4d. From what I can tell, this means there is a 5mm difference between the sac and the baby. I've read that when the difference is less than 5mm, there is an 80-90% chance of miscarriage.
I haven't had any spotting, and the HB is good (129). My RE is concerned, but seems to be putting it at a 50/50 chance for us. We are doing a repeat scan in just under two weeks to see how things are progressing - hopefully the sac is growing better rather than the alternative (worse growth or no HB).
Has anyone gone through this and had a positive outcome?
