Hello,

Can anyone tell me if I'm fine to eat Astro Authentikos Greek yogurt? I want to make sure before I dig in and I  don't see anywhere that it says it's pasteurized...?

Thank you!

Hi Hoping,

I'm pretty sure all Canadian milk is pasteurized, including milk used to make cheese and yogurt. If it's not pasteurized, it would say it's raw.

I couldn't find any info directly about Astro, but Liberte's website says: Under Health Canada’s Food and Drug Regulations, all of our products must be pasteurized.

Since Astro is made with Canadian milk (as per their website), and it's sold in Canada, it should be pasteurized. So as long as you are buying the yogurt in Canada, it should be fine.
