Hi Janis!

I agree!!

I am on day 2 of the bcp but we are waiting to hear when DH can go in for a micro-tese. I may be on the pill for an extra month if they can't book the operating room in time for this cycle.

All the best with your FET!

I assume that means the surgery where they go in and look for sperm in the testicles? Ouch! Sometimes it is better to be a female. Is he having that in Moncton or Halifax?

Hi Janis,

He is having the surgery in Moncton. You're right- it does not sound like much fun. I have tried to make him feel better by pointing out the most men eventually have a vasectomy- and he won't ever have to go through that- he is getting this instead...lol.

How has your experience been with Conceptia?

I have found everyone very nice, they always return my phone calls and have been quite patient with my impatience. I just wish they were in a big hurry like I am. ;)

You must be counting down the days!!

My experience at Conceptia has been great. The nurses and doctors have all been fabulous and the RE is top notch. No complaints there at all.
I think the hardest thing is definitely the waiting. I was anxious for things to get going in June when I did my fresh cycle but I find that I am busy at work right now so the time is going fast for the FET. It is hard to believe it is next week. I did feel a little lost while I was waiting to get started again this summer. I read a posting by another gal on here who is very good with words and she said something like...you feel like you all of a sudden you are off schdeule or you don't have a "life schedule" anymore. Not that you were necessarily on one but the inertia makes you feel out of sorts. I could definitely relate.
I hope your hubby gets his surgery date soon. Mine was pretty relieved that he did have to do TESA because he has already been through a vasectomy and a reversal...not sure i could have sold that one to him.
Keep me posted...
