Does anyone know of any good insurance plans available in Ontario that I can purchase to cover some of the fertility expenses (e.g., sperm wash, drugs, etc..)? Unless its your employers defined benefits, is it always be considered pre-existing?

I have some coverage through my work but called in asked if I could purchase additional coverage and they advised infertility is a pre-existing condition so I will not qualify for any additional coverage,

Hi All,

do you believe the following article is applicable only to US or Canadian insurances as well:

https://www.wikihow....ed-by-Insurance "How to get IVF covered by insurance"?

Also, anyone from Quebec here? I am seeing on the following page that RAMQ covers fertility drugs: info_ LL.pdf

But I am on a private insurance for medications, however I have already exceeded the lifetime maximum coverage for fertility drugs and now get 0 refunds. Is there a way for me to use RAMQ for fertility drugs then, as I am not longer covered for it under the private insurance?
