Hello Everyone,

Just got my th_abfp.gif  after a DE IVF. Did my first HPT at 8dp5dt and got clear two lines. I am so excited since it's our first IVF try. Now I have to go for my beta.

Given my transfer day (March 27th), my due date should be December 12th.

Anybody else expecting a December baby?

Welcome Aimeehug! Let's hope this thread picks up.

Congrats on your BFP. Yes, your little could arrive in December. How are you feeling?

BTW how are you able to add your history at the bottom of your message. I am fairly new here...

To add your history, you go to your profile, then "edit profile" at the top, and then on the left hand side, there's "signature" and you can add whatever you want into your signature.

I just saw that you went to Barbados for treatment? How was that?

I am a mix of feelings. I had a loss at 5 weeks in December, and I'm so anxious this go around. I'm 6 weeks now, so further along, but I've had a touch of spotting, and some cramps that have worried me, but nothing major. They're sending me for an early ultrasound on Monday and I can't wait for that.

On the flip side, I've been pretty chronically nauseous, which is super uncomfortable, but I'm taking as a positive sign. One min I'm complaining about it, but as soon as it goes away I worry.1087.gif

HI AimeeN..what a coincidence!! omg! Did you do your beta yet? I did mine 9dp5dt and they were 188. I am due for another test on Monday (3 days later).

Any symptomes yet?

AimeeHug, Barbados has a great fertility center. The donor took a while to get her follicules to where they should be so the transfer was delayed. We had a whole week to ourselves hubby and I. Just enjoying the island. I was rested and ready on transfer day. No major symptomes for me. very mild cramping here and there. Felling a little out of breath sometimes but nothing major.

I know how you feel. I miscarried last july and i am praying this one will stick.

I did my transfer on March 29th so my due date should be 2 days after yours so December 14th. Beta isn't until the 13th though, my clinic makes you wait 2 weeks. I tested on 5dp5dt (FET) and I got a bfp. Tested again today at 8dp5dt and the lines were darker. This is my second pregnancy (ds is 2) and I had a chemical back in December. I also went to Barbados back in 2015 but I wasn't as successful. Congratulations on the bfps everyone.

Yep... had my beta on Sat 10dp5dt and my HGG was 65... go for another test on on Wed (4 days later) to make sure they are rising properly.  We did a transfer in Oct last year that was tracking along well... blood tests were all good and we were waiting for our scan and then I had an early miscarriage so I am trying not to get too excited yet.

I have really sore boobs and am super tired but have been feeling like this since I started taking progesterone... I have been feeling a bit bloated the last few days but that's about it.  What about you, how have you been feeling?

Congrats to everyone else and fingers crossed we all get our miracle babies heart.gif

Welcome Infertilesoil! great that you go BFP so soon. What a coincidence that you've been to Barbados too. Well, it was my first try at IVF and it was in Barbados. so far it worked for me. We have 2 frosties there.

AimeeN - Sorry for your loss. I didn't know you could have great betas and still miscarry a few days later. that's scary.

Fingers crosses for your beta on wednesday.

Aimehug-do you take Dicletin for nausea? Let us know how your scan goes tomorrow. I am so excited for mine but it's not until April 26!!

AFM. No real obvious symptoms. I am very nervous for my beta tomorrow. mellow.png sad.png

Had my first ultrasound. They saw the fetus, measuring about the right size, and saw a small heartbeat. It's a huge relief.

However, she also saw a small SCH, and did mention risk of MC is alittle higher as a result. I go back in a week and a half for another scan.

Meanwhile, I continue the awful nausea and vomitting. I will put up with it if this little baby continues to stick!

Great news AimeeHug! it's always a relief the hear a heartbeat. Stay positive. Good luck with the dizziness and nausea.

I had my 2nd beta today: it went from 188 (3 days ago) to 616 today. I was worried to death waiting for the results since I don't have any symptoms. I am hoping both embies will stick. I think the numbers might not be high enough for twins, but who knows. Will know in 3 weeks when I go for my scan.

Have a great week everyone.

Hi all! Joining your group :)

My transfer was March 23rd that makes me 5 weeks and 1 day today. My first beta was 254 and my second was 516.

My symptoms are slight morning sickness at night and massive fatigue.

Something that concerns me and Im wondering if any of you are feeling this ... a dull sharp pain on one side? Its been on and off all day. Im hoping its nothing.

soso - glad your results were good... now the dreaded wait until the scan -- I've got my second Beta tomorrow and am so nervous

Aimeehug - fingers crossed... positive sign that there was a heartbeat.  I find it so frustrating when you think you are going to have a test/scan and the results will finally put your mind to rest and then the results are inconclusive or show something that could be of concern.  I hope it all works out for you

MissyBaby - I have pain that I have been getting on and off on my right side... I keep telling myself its where the embryo implanted - I don't think it's anything to be concerned about probably just your uterus getting ready smile.png

Missy Baby, I hope the pain does go away. If it continues to bother you, I would suggest letting your doctor know. They might send you for an early ultrasound, just to be on the safe side. Hopefully all is well, and the early ultrasound is just a bonus so you get to see your little one sooner.

Welcome MissyBaby! No side pains here. No real pregnancy symptoms either. I don't think you should worry about it. There is so much happening in our bodies right now ;-)

AimeeN, hope you're happy with your beta results.

I told my sisters we're pregnant. Couldn't wait until the u/s on April 26. They were calling/textin me to know if I had peed on a stick lol.

When do you all plan on telling your family and friends.

Missy- I actually go back April 17 for my next ultrasound too!

Soso- a lot of people knew I was going through IVF, and I'm terrible at keeping a secret, so a lot of people- my aunt, a couple of ladies who are like moms to me, and a few friends know I'm pregnant. My aunt also let it slip to my brother, she thought I would have told him...

My MIL doesn't officially know yet, but I think she probably suspects, she knew we were doing more fertility treatments, and she heard me dry heaving while she was talking to DH on the phone, so he told her I was nauseous.

I think we'll prob officially tell his mom and brother and my brother soonish, and will be waiting a while yet for anyone else. I already feel I have tons of people to tell if we have a MC, I don't want to add more to that list.

Meanwhile, I'm being a big baby with this sickness. i've bene so lucky I've had a few no shows with clients and I've just sat in my office and tried not to die. Yesterday I barely got off the couch, I just feel like I have the flu. I hate complaining about something I've wanted so badly, but it's really kicking my butt.

Soso - thanks. Both hubby and I are off for a bunch of blood tests and then our specialist wants to do an ERA test during my next cycle... so all going well we should be able to go again with an FET in June (& hopefully know if there is anything else we can do)... luckily I still have 11 5days embryos on ice
