My husband was diagnosed with azoospermia in early December 2018.

He sent DH for more blood tests and a karyotype. Everything came back normal (FSH, LH, testosterone). His karyotype is also normal (so no Klinefelter). Based on these test results our doctor believes it is more probable that he has obstructive azoospermia (in which case he is producing sperm and retrieval should not be a problem).

Doctor is proceeding directly with TESE.

I was just wondering if anyone here has had successful sperm retrieval with TESE (not micro-TESE) with similar parameters?

Me & DH: 28

Dx: Azoospermia

TTC since January 2018

My AMH level is good (3.8 ng/ml), currently no indication of female factor.

DH's hormone levels and karyotype is normal. Indication: Possibly Obstructive Azoospermia

TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction/Biopsy) scheduled for February 2019.

IVF w/ ICSI protocol to be confirmed, pending results of TESE (for him) and HSG + bloodwork (for me).
