Could I have some advice?

I am prescribed crinone progesterone gel. And I misread the clinic instructions. I took it late last night at 01:30 (I had IUI at noon yesterday) but now I read the instructions properly it said to start the night after IUI so they meant tonight.
Have I messed it up badly?

Im pretty certain I had ovulated by the time I had the IUI (day 14) at noon, as I got my LH surge on Tuesday (day 12) and took the trigger shot that evening. I had ovulation pains from 06:00 to 15:00 on day 14 (day of IUI)

Id just like to know why is it prescribed for the night after IUI and what if any effects it has if taken earlier?
Worried.

Hmm, I would call your office to make sure, which probably doesn't help you over the weekend. Maybe call the pharmacy?

My understanding is progesterone just makes the uterus nice and "fluffy" and receptive to implantation. So I don't think that it should affect things much, but I'm not 100% sure.
