My last Fet I was on 4mg 3/day orally with the believe I would switch to vaginally at day 7. My lining however was doing really well so stayed orally.
I found the first few days I had a headache but it went away as the cycle progressed.

My frozen embryo transfer preparation instructions (hopefully sometime in February or March) are following: day 1-5 2mg per day; day 6-10 2x2mg per day; day 11 onward 3x2 mg per day.
I will start with estrace (priming) in a week or so. I am 99% sure i will get the headaches also. Are you allowed to take anything for the headaches? I am working with children- it’s going to be a nightmare

Hi everyone Im back I was on here a couple years ago I took 2017 off for a year after my 2 rounds IVF failure on 2016.
A bit about me 37yr old PCOS and DH-MF/low mobility
Jus wanted to let yous know how my infertility journey went this year, I started stimming in Aug2018-retrieved 20 eggs, 16 made it to blasts and 11 were good enough to be PGS tested, out of it came 3 normal euploid embryos that are frozen. My doc and I decided to do an ERA test which holds u back another month bc of doing a mock cycle to figure if your WOI, the test was kinda like PAP test little cramping no biggie but they figured my transfer day is day 7 weve been transferring embryos day5 in the past. My transfer day was dec 18/18, Im one not to wait lol I test 7dpo and a light POS tested 10dpo and it was darker, tested this morning def POS, going for my HPT test tomorrow, best of luck to u all I know its a hard journey but have hope... I had cramping me first week and little pink spot 5dpo, hoping this one sticks first POS for me!

Melissa87, Im currently on 4 mg twice a day (oral), my clinics typical protocol for FET slowly builds up to 3 mg twice a day, but because Ive had spotting they increased me. Im scheduled to start prometrium on January 1st and go for transfer on the 6th.

Chiming in here, too since I'm also having an FET in January. Also in Greece! I can't take bcp, so had to kick off my prep with a shot of decapeptyl. I just started adding estrogen a few days ago. Today will be my first increase in the dose. I'm looking forward to adding some estrogen back into my life - that first shot was ROUGH. I had a constant headache for two weeks and started having the worst brain fog. Fingers crossed that the prep goes smoothly from here on in! I'm also cutting down on caffeine now, gradually. During my round of IVF, I stopped cold turkey and it was actually painful!

Hi everyone. Im hoping to do a fet at the end of the month. I start provera to bring on a period tomorrow since I have pcos and I never get one. We will be doing estrace twice a day then endometron.

This is for our second son. First was conceived during first round of IVF. We used our froEn embroyos resulting in a miscarriage in June. Did a complete second round of IVF and we thankfully have 6 frozen embroyos.

dangey, good luck with your upcoming FET!

How's everyone else doing? I went for my first b/w yesterday & so far have a good response according to my estrogen level (2821 on day 6 of stims). I go back on Sat for more b/w & u/s. Hoping for the best.

Dangey, have you done acupuncture before? Im currently doing it for this FET, and did it during my IVF and fresh transfer, and I really believe it helps! It made a big difference to my hubbys sperm count too.

Im just on count down to transfer day this Sunday. My spotting has stopped for the last few days, so hopefully everything goes smoothly for the transfer.

Baseline bloodwork and ultrasound done today and everything looks good. There was some confusion about my protocol but I don't start stims until the 10th so there is time to get it sorted. Good luck to everyone! I will be starting acupuncture as soon as my acupuncturist is back from holidays! Also doing a Whole30 to keep things clean this month.

Fingers crossed for you!

Dusky679, good luck! crsd.gif

It's stim day 9 for me today & I had more b/w plus the first u/s. I've got about 16 follicles total growing & he measured 9 ranging from 12mm-16mm. I go back on Monday to recheck & see if I'm ready to trigger. So that was all good news. The only concern I have is that my E2 is now 10830 & with that many follicles still needing time to grow I expect it'll be 20000+ on Monday. Yikes!

At least it's a freeze-all cycle since I'm doing CCS testing on any blasts, but I'm a little concerned about OHSS. I'll see what they say on Monday I guess. Hoping for a good number of mature follicles but not a crazy e2 level.

I did my butt. Heat the area of injection as well as the progesterone. Ice and massage afterwards. It makes a big difference.

Just watch for pain and/or reddness afterwards. If you find after the fact you are getting a lot of knots or ichyness talk to clinic. I didnt say anything thinking it was normal. No pain with physical injections just after the fact. Ended up being allergic and needed to switch to supossitories. if it wasnt for the reaction I would have preffered the shots. Hoping this time around I can try again with a different oil.

ML888. Did you do the progesterone in the stomach as well? If so what did you take?

Melissa. The first is the worst due to fear. Once done you will be fine.

AFM. I have a follow up with re in the morning to see if I can have Fet next cycle. AF not due for a couple of weeks so transfer if all goes well wouldnt be until first full week in Feb

Did the transfer today! Transfered one day 6 embryo. They did assisted hatching and said it looked good. So now we just cross our fingers and do those little things that might help (pineapple cores, warm feet, lol).
