Waiting for the nurse to call me back but Im two days after retrieval and I just suddenly got bad cramps/nausea and diarrhea. Im in so much pain and wondering if others have had this reaction and what I can do. I took Tylenol and have a hear pack. I hurt so much. Not sure if Im reacting to the Prometrium or what.

Thanks for checking in. They're a little worried it might be OHSS, which I didn't think I was at much risk for, because my estradiol levels were never that high. However, since the pain has lessened with heat and tylenol, they seem less worried. I just have to drink a lot of pedialyte, weigh myself tonight and tomorrow morning and let them know if I've gained weight overnight, or if things get worse. They'll also probably do an ultrasound before my transfer to ensure there is no fluid around my ovaries.

Yes, the cramps come and go but generally not as severe and Ill just keep drinking pedialyte and hope for the best.
