Ugh. No. Insomnia is my main symptom. This is my second and with #1 I had it the whole pregnancy.

I'm 41 with endo

IVF #1: March 2016: Long protocol: Suprefact (200)/Menopur (225)

9 follicles => 4 eggs => 3 mature => 3 fertilized (ICSI) => 2 blasts (one transferred, one frozen)

BFN

IVF #2: June 2016: Microdose flare: Suprefact (40 BID)/Menopur (150)/ Gonal (300)

7-10 follicles (?) => 12 mature eggs => only 4 fertilized w/ICSI => transferred 2 @ 3days and 1 blast frozen

BFP: day 14 beta = 93, day 18 beta 557 (37h doubling time)

.... it stuck and we welcomed our boy March 2017!

back on this crazy journey again: June 6, 2018: FET #1...

Im sorry, I dont sleep that well either. (But better now than before NIPT and NT!)

I am trying to stretch before bed, might try a bath before too. I have taken timed-release Gravol when really desperate. Its safe. Convincing DH to rub my shoulders is proving difficult, but might book a massage this week.

Does anything help for you now, or previously?

Me: 39 43 and DH: 33 37, TTC #1 since August 2014
Dx: Unexplained / egg quality? / asymptomatic endometriosis! (? cervical factor), some low morphology but high overall counts

1 missed m/c, 12 medicated cycles, 5 IUIs, 3 IVFs

Feb to May 2018 - FET#1

3 months of Lupron Depot, acupuncture, adding in Prednisone, intralipids, PIO, Fragmin, and the kitchen sink

Feb 27 - Lupron #1, Mar 27 - Lupron #2, Apr 23 - Lupron #3

May 25 - Transfer 1x 3AB now 6AA hatched blastocyst

Jun 1 - 7dp5dt HPT BFP!

hs4816 - I got a silly pillow to help me sleep on my left side, but its also comforting. I hope the fact that youve done this once before, successfully!, brings some comfort.

Hi hs4816, that does feel like a long time to wait!! Can you you ask your GP to do a Doppler? I understand the need for reassurance, fully.

AFM, dealing with frequent headaches and bowels still. I am on extra calcium with prednisone as part of intralipids until 22w. Hoping things change for the better then. 16w today...

Hey ladies!

hs4816 - I get it, and that's the only reason I had the NT scan. Even then, the pictures of her aren't the best. I actually find hearing the heartbeat more at my doctor's appointments reassuring because I can never really tell what I'm looking at!

Muffin - I've been getting bad headaches as well. I find peppermint and a heating bag on my neck have helped but I just have to wait them out for three days before they disappear.

AFM - not much else. 16 weeks this week and am feeling huge!

Hi to everyone else that might be lurking :)

I'm ok. 17w. Carrying all my weight in my face so I look like a bubble person. Still insomnia, but otherwise feel well. Placenta is very low, so worried about previa, but we will see as time goes.

Hope everyone is feeling and doing well!

Maybebaby - 3day headaches? Oh no... Ive been teaching for the Tylenol.

Im 20w tomorrow. Not really gaining weight this trimester, and wonder if baby is still growing? I have noticed that people in my prenatal yoga look much larger than me. Perhaps because Im tall there is more room for the bump to spread out? Sigh...

Had an ultrasound a few days ago, but I have to go back to see if baby is in a better position to the finish spinal images. No real answers yet from part one, which is unsettling.

Feel a bit fleeced after spending $30 for a disc with images but there were only 7, and I was hoping for the whole hundred or so. Would have liked to know my fibroid, SCH, and cervical measurements ASAP. (Paid $10 at a different clinic for all 59.)

Anyways the NIPT and the ultrasound have confirmed a girl, and we are really happy about that!

Hey! I'm 21 weeks now. Found out we are having a girl and pretty excited. Have started thinking about names.

Muffin- i looked only mildly fat in the stomach for the longest time and these past ten days it was like bam....here is a baby belly. Kinda caught me by surprise! I'm sure yours will come soon.

Looks like most of us are having girls! :)

hs4816 - are they monitoring you more closely for the previa?

muffin#1 - I do take tylenol. The problem is I am actually supposed to be on prescription meds for my headaches/migraines. I've been lucky and only had three migraines so far, but get the three-day headaches at least once a week. Hopefully you hear back about your ultrasound soon!

Baby-M - The belly really does happen overnight, doesn't it? Hope you're feeling well otherwise.

AFM - have my first OB appointment today! Excited to book my next ultrasound. We haven't had a decent picture to keep from the others, so I hope she cooperates this time!

I'm having a boy ;-)

Nobody is really monitoring me extra at this stage. US next week should show placenta anatomy accurately. I was bleeding again this week though. So stressful but I keep getting told not to panic (hah! Unlikely). I bought a home doppler which helps reassure me a bit. Bleeding has stopped again for now

Helllllloooooo out there, how is everyone doing?

hs4816 - how is the SCH? I hope you have some more info on the placenta

maybebaby - I hope you have a nice collection of ultrasound pictures by now!

Baby-M, OuttaControl, and anyone I've missed - hi!

I've been chugging along, 31 weeks now. Only thing to report is that I am wavering on my original choice of using the Toronto Birth Centre. We've toured the TBC and its beautiful, and it is still where I want to be. But I am reading up on newborn health if I'm on (even super low dose) SSRIs and that baby might need respiratory monitoring every 4h for 24-48h. My fibroid is still sizeable and lurking about in the "lower uterine/cervical" area and might cause problems for a vaginal birth? My next u/s is mid/late January to see.

Oh, and I guess the usual heartburn/acid reflux, low back pain, varicose veins in legs (and pelvis??!!!) are all present and annoying - but I am coping with all of that. Just happy to have a baby squirming about in my belly!

HI HI!!

muffin#1 - I know of quite a few people who have used TBC and only had the most wonderful of experiences! Hopefully you get to deliver there. I hear you on the reflux and pain being worth it. I take them as good signs and get really scared when I feel good now :P

Hoping everyone else out there is doing ok as well!

AFM - 30 weeks now and super anxious to meet our little girl. We still have only crummy photos of her as she's always forward facing, but the fact that she's still in there and growing is really all that I need. I've also been dealing with GD and it's been hard to find a balance of foods that keeps my blood sugar in check in the morning. Have a feeling they may put me on insulin at my next visit, which I'm ok with if it finally balances me out.

So glad to hear things are going well for others!

So i delivered january 18 at 35+1. I guess I'm the first. Long birth story... summary version: admitted with preterm rupture of membranes, wasnt in labour. Couple days of that then rapid labour (screaming and pushing in elevator while they were racing me to delivery room. No epidural). But then unable to push out so stat section. Second time that's happened to me so I guess I have a pelvis problem. Baby is almost 7 days old. Issues with hypoglycemia, jaundice, and feeding. BUT improved every day and possibly ready for us both to go home tomorrow.

Closing eyes now. 90 minutes until I have to pump again.

Hope you're all still well!

Congratulations, hs4816!!!

I'm 37 weeks now and just waiting to hear from OB on Monday if we'll go with a c-section or induction. They've told me they want me to deliver between 38 and 39 because of my GD, but she's been bum down the last few weeks. Either way, she should be here in a couple of weeks and I just want to hold her already!

congrats hs4816!! I hope you are on the mend ;)

I am 38w today and awaiting an OB consult to schedule a C-section. Started this planning for a warm big tub at Toronto Birth Centre with a midwife... but baby is breech, my fibroid is still large near cervix and might be in the way of vaginal delivery, my stenotic scar-tissued cervix might not open, and I would like to avoid an age-related induction.

Milk came in no problem. Just issues feeding because his suck is weak and hes sleepy. We are home and its challenging, but I'd say improving. I feel good. I hated being in the hospital, but 7days of healing did me some good now that I also have my toddler to chase. One feed at a time!

I'm 41 with endo

IVF #1: March 2016: Long protocol: Suprefact (200)/Menopur (225)

9 follicles => 4 eggs => 3 mature => 3 fertilized (ICSI) => 2 blasts (one transferred, one frozen)

BFN

IVF #2: June 2016: Microdose flare: Suprefact (40 BID)/Menopur (150)/ Gonal (300)

7-10 follicles (?) => 12 mature eggs => only 4 fertilized w/ICSI => transferred 2 @ 3days and 1 blast frozen

BFP: day 14 beta = 93, day 18 beta 557 (37h doubling time)

.... it stuck and we welcomed our boy March 2017!

back on this crazy journey again: June 6, 2018: FET #1...

Hi all, the C-section was quite a trip! Done on Feb 5 (39w + 1d), and our baby is now about 2w old.

Even though things were fine throughout pregnancy, after delivery I developed HELLP syndrome (a form of pre-eclampsia) and needed extra monitoring in hospital and post discharge. The OB needed to remove my fibroid (unplanned) as I think it was in the way of stitching me back up.

Milk was slow to start and baby lost too much of her birth weight, so we started supplementing with formula and tube feeding - which has been stressful, slow, and laborious. She had a tongue tie assessed and treated 4 days ago, and seems to be getting back on track for weight gain. Such a huge relief!!

I was really unprepared for how dependant I would be at home. We now have a toilet frame so that I can feel a bit more human and less invalid - yaay! We were about to rent a walker too, but its much easier for me now.

Its been hard to enjoy this time so far as weve been so anxious about her weight and getting her to eat (also a sleepy babe), and doing the tongue stretches etc. Feels like we are torturing the poor thing sometimes.

But we are learning to relax into things a bit and gain some confidence as new parents. Dont know what Id do without my partner - hes really stepped up to the challenge of fatherhood and looking after a post-surgery me.

I hope everyone else is doing well :)
