singlemama - when is your next u/s?
maybebaby - any news from the clinic?
BabyM - I was discharged this week too. Feels really weird! I will miss having my RE involved in my care, he was exceptionally great to deal with.
How is everyone else?

She was concerned I may be creeping towards higher than desired blood pressure. I think she said it was 120/89? I don't think that's all that bad but apparently lower is better. She recommended a baby aspirin daily. I googled and this seems to be a common thing. Anyone else on a baby aspirin?

Baby-M - yay for heart beats! That must have felt amazing! I've been on baby aspirin since my transfer. It seems standard with protocols at the clinic I go to.
HS4816 - did the bleeding finally stop? I haven't had any from my SCH in two weeks, but I know it can happen again any time. So scary!
Muffin - YAY for being discharged! Did you decide which test to do?
Hi to anyone else I missed!
AFM - I called the monitoring clinic last Monday but they didn't have the report. However, they did ask that I make an appt with the doctor there (my RE at Trio is off for the month), which I found weird as I haven't seen him since 2016, but since my doc isn't around, it will have to do!
And as I was typing this, they finally called me to tell me about the ultrasound. SCH and fibroid are still there, but baby is measuring on track (was 7w6d at that point). They gave my due date as Feb 15 while the hospital had said the 14. I'm fine with either. Baby's heart rate was 163, so I'm happy.

I had my 9 week ultrasound yesterday and it was amazing! My little blob is now a little gummy bear and it was kicking its little feet. 💕 sooo cute. Heart rate was 172 bpm. I even took a video since my husband couldnt come - I flew to Vancouver for it.
Ive been discharged from my clinic and apparently have to go see my family dr who will refer me to a prenatal dr? The obs here only take high risk pregnancies. I have no idea. This is all new to me. I want to get the harmony or panorama test done but dont know how to facilitate it.
How are you guys doing? Anyone trying to exercise? Im not much of a gym goer but I love to walk. There is a really nice park near my house that runs along a river with some neat character houses from the 50s and 60s so I walk there. Getting in 8k steps each day and will try and start increasing to 10k steps but dont want to push it. Pretty good considering I have a sedentary job and sit at my computer all day

Dx PCOS in Apr 2013. Clomid 50 mg and 100 mg - no response. Letrozole 2.5 mg and 5 mg - no response. (tried 4 times over 4 years)

Baby-M - yeah I think low dose ASA is standard protocol at TRIO. I think it helps thin the blood a bit and therefore overall blood flow to uterus. If it costs pennies and can't hurt, then I'm so fine to add anything that might possibly boost my chances. Swimming sounds good, even though I am a terrible swimmer. Maybe just some sort of resistance/cardio in a pool for me? I hope I get to labour in a birthing pool - my body responds well to warm water ;-)
I *think* my midwives will arrange for NIPT through Mount Sinai, which offers "Verifi," but might not be OHIP covered for 40+ like myself. My GP gave me a requisition for OHIP-covered Panorama as a back up. My GP said they are pretty much all the same, maybe Verifi is marginally more accurate.
OuttaControl - I took out some prenatal yoga videos from the library, but I am still sitting here on the sofa! I'm not much for the gym either. I do tend to walk 5,000 to 12,000 steps a day, probably because we don't have a car. I work at a university and run around a fair bit there too. Happy to hear that the ultrasound is looking good! Ours looks like a gummy bear too, but I hope ours was just sleeping. Next time I will shake it up a bit down there...
I hope there is still a good heartbeat to hear on this Thursday's midwife appointment! I am 10w1d today and feeling a little less pregnant? I know switching from PIO to Endometrin suppositories is a big part of that, and trying not to worry.
I have honestly been so anxious that I have not slept through the night since HPT BFP. I can fall asleep fine, but then my tiny bladder wakes me up at least once in the night and then I am up for 1-2hr. Aaargh.
Hi to everyone else, and I hope all is well.

Hi Everyone,
I'm so glad to see everyone is moving along and doing well! I had my second ultrasound on the 12th and there was no longer a heartbeat and it looked like the baby had stopped growing a few days after the first ultrasound. It was a sad weekend. I miscarried on Monday and things are just tapering off now. I'm thankful I could avoid a D & C or other intervention but so sad that I have to start all over again. Today I feel a lot more hopeful realizing that with only one exception, everyone I know who has miscarried has ended up having a baby.
I wish you all the best!

Im officially off Endometrin and Estrace, and got an NT scan on the weekend. Got to see our little muffin jumping around and all sorts of exciting movement. Official NIPT are still tbc, but the genetic counsellor left a vm stating normal/low risk for trisomies. I slept a lot better this weekend

Muffin#1 - that's so exciting that you got another peek at mini muffin and that NIPT came back low risk!
AFM - I'm ok. My nausea seems to have increased, but still nothing too terrible, which I'm thankful for. Did blood work for Harmony this morning and should have results by the end of the week. We will also find out the sex of the baby. NT scan will be next Tuesday. Hopefully everything comes back ok! Very nervous about it all.

I have been bleeding a ton and have an unconfirmed SCH as nobody wants to say it. I have had 5 ultrasounds so far and the peanut is okay but there is clearly a SCH in there. I had a big bleed on Friday night and ended up in the ER. I havent had any bleeding yesterday or today so fingers crossed its resolved...but well see.
I have an appointment withy family doctor today and Im going to ask about NIPT testing. Mostly because I want to find out the gender early!

Outtacontrol - has the bleeding resolved itself? Hoping it has!
Muffin - How did your NT scan go?
Baby-m - How are you doing?
Anyone else still nauseated and have food aversions? I was hoping they would be gone by now but it's still pretty ridiculous. Tired of living on toast and plain macaroni!
AFM - Harmony results came back all low risk and we're having a girl!!! DH is disappointed, but we are both happy to hear the low risk results! Had my NT scan this morning and the tiny human was pretty active. Had a really nice tech who turned the monitor around almost right away to show me the baby, which looked like a turtle! Everything looked good, though! Now just waiting to hear back from OB, but will continue to see my family doc until then.

What had everyone been told to do with their meds. I'm supposed to stop both estrace and prometrium this week cold Turkey but I'm nervous.....
Stopped cold turkey at end of 10 weeks. It's scary, but you'll be fine.

hs4816 - I stopped cold turkey at 12w, and my RE was just being extra conservative. 10w is fine. I haven't had an u/s or doppler since stopping, so feeling nervous too. But, I have to trust.
maybemaybe16 - seeing them move is fun, eh?!
OuttaControl - how are things now?
NT scan results were good. Measuring ahead of schedule (but I'm tall), and the neck area was 1.0mm. Actually looked up if it can be too small... I swear I will find anything to worry about. Fibroid is still growing, but I read that they sometimes stop in 2nd/3rd and can even degenerate (painfully). I've been showing for a while, and I can only assume its a baby/fibroid/constipation combo. Still hungry though. Been having some aversions to red meat at dinner. It seems I can't finish my dinner, especially if we eat late. And, NIPT says GIRL though I'm reluctant to fully believe it - we both want a girl (DH wants a little me, not a little him). It feels too good to be true.
Has anyone received instructions on how long to take low-dose ASA? Is it safe to take during all trimesters?
I hope everyone else is well!

To answer the question about meds - I stopped cold turkey at 10 weeks. All was fine. It was really nice not to worry about meds 3 times a day!
I'm on baby aspirin too. My midwife told me to take it until 36 weeks I think? It's a blood thinner so you want to stop just before you could go into labor. You bleed enough with labor as it is!
And I still feel sick too at 14 weeks. Much less than before but still unpleasant around 9 pm
