I will be smile.png We had our fourth FET on May 30 and a positive beta on June 11. EDD is February 14.

This weekend wasn't the greatest for us as I had heavy, bright-red bleeding on Friday night. We went to the hospital, waited for four hours and were told by the doctor I was "probably miscarrying, but won't be able to tell until we do an ultrasound," which they couldn't do for us until the next morning. So we went home pretty upset at 1 a.m., only to return at 10 a.m. and see our little sea monkey measuring right on track and with a heart beat completely in range for 6w. Turns out it was just a SCH, which I still have, and apparently I also have a fibroid.

I swear some days this is harder (emotionally and stress-wise) than the process to get pregnant!

Hi Maybe, congrats!! I’m at TRIO too. I’m 7w1d, and EDD is Feb 10.

Sorry about your rough weekend, but I’m glad things are on track for you! SCHs seem common around here. I have a fibroid too, it’s been getting a lot bigger with the PIO and pregnancy (my RE is not worried about it, btw).

I’m pretty stressed out too! We’ve worked so hard to get here ;)
I am trying to relax into it, but that might not be possible until 12-14w I guess. Taking it day-by-day I guess... had a stressful visit to the ER last week for a very large and raised bruise from Fragmin. Was told by Telehealth and a pharmacist to rule out internal bleeding. In the end I felt stupid for even going and waiting for 4h to be seen, but I don’t want to screw anything up either :/

How are you coping? Have you found any strategies that work?

Hi Baby-M, congrats! Hope the nausea gets better soon ;)

I feel lucky to have been spared nausea so far. But also worry about not having nausea? Also super tired and very very unmotivated to do much.

Hi everyone! I had a FET on May 28th and a positive but low beta on June 9th followed by a normal positive beta on the 11th. I'm due February 13th and am having a hard time believing it's all real. I've had mild symptoms, but nothing more than what I had on just the meds other than some food aversions and a bit of nausea. I had 24 hrs of brown spotting last week which freaked me out so I finally took a hpt today to make sure it was still positive (it was). First ultrasound is Wednesday. This process is crazy-making! Exercise will help but I'm trying to take it easy until at least the first ultrasound.

Welcome and congrats OuttaControl and singlemamatobe,
I know what you mean about not wanting to jinx it, but I’m going a little stir crazy with waiting. We did not do PGS testing, so really just throwing the dice!

Singlemamatobe - It's so crazy making! The best thing we can do is remain as calm as possible, which I know is easier said than done :)

Outtacontrol - those are the only symptoms I've had as well. I admit, I get a little worried when my boobs aren't sore (has happened a few times over the last two weeks), but then it comes raging back.

Muffin - we didn't do PGS either, but I've read so many conflicting things about it that I'm ok with our decision not to proceed with it.

BabyM - 8 weeks! Amazing! When do you graduate from your clinic?

AFM - I am so freakin tired and I think some nausea has started as I find myself taking extra deep breaths on my commute to work. Also a little anxious about going back to the clinic for bloodwork tomorrow after the weekend's bleeding incident.

Ugh I woke up to a bunch of blood this morning. It has stopped but it scared the crap out of me. I am wondering if it is the endometrin irritating me and blood thinners that I am on. This also happened on Saturday.
I emailed my nurse and asked if she thinks moving my ultrasound up is a good idea because I have bad anxiety and think Im not pregnant anymore.
Well see what she says.

I ended up calling them because I think the nurse I emailed is not in today.
She told me the bleeding does not concern her and her instinct tells her that we should not do an early ultrasound or order more blood work because the ultrasound wont show them what they need to see yet, and the blood work wont show them anything they dont already know.
This is gonna be a long wait until Thursday.

Hi OuttaControl, sorry to hear about your frightening morning! I hope its nothing to worry about too.

I understand anxiety well. I did do one thing while waiting for my first ultrasound and that was buy a ClearBlue Easy with Weeks Estimator test. It can only tell you if you are at most 5+ weeks pregnant based on your HCG levels, but seeing that I was first 4-5 weeks and then 5+ weeks brought me much comfort. I could then assume that my HCG was rising normally. It does say to use 1st morning urine.

All of this might add to your anxiety just as easily, but it might provide some additional positive info before Thursday's ultrasound.

FX!

Your cervix can also get irritated.

Outta control - I've had about 5 instances of bleeding so far. It was never a lot (wouldn't fill a panty liner) but bright red and it always stopped in a few hours. - but still scary. I was told cervix irritation is common especially with the suppositories and not to worry unless it was enough to fill a regular pad. When I stopped trying to insert the suppositories as high as possible I noticed I haven't had any bleeding since (about a week now). I hope your scan on Thursday gives you reassurance as well.

As for me, I go back next Friday for my final clinic appointment at 9.5 weeks and then I'm released to a midwife! I'm quite excited and I assume since I still feel terrible all is well with baby!

Hi all.
I really want to be here but I'm still worried. EDD is Feb 21 which makes me 5w6d. No symptoms yet and have had 2 episodes of bleeding.

Ultrasound this week hoping to see something....

I'm 41 with endo

IVF #1: March 2016: Long protocol: Suprefact (200)/Menopur (225)

9 follicles => 4 eggs => 3 mature => 3 fertilized (ICSI) => 2 blasts (one transferred, one frozen)

BFN

IVF #2: June 2016: Microdose flare: Suprefact (40 BID)/Menopur (150)/ Gonal (300)

7-10 follicles (?) => 12 mature eggs => only 4 fertilized w/ICSI => transferred 2 @ 3days and 1 blast frozen

BFP: day 14 beta = 93, day 18 beta 557 (37h doubling time)

.... it stuck and we welcomed our boy March 2017!

back on this crazy journey again: June 6, 2018: FET #1...

Ultrasound this week hoping to see something....

Good to see you! We were in the June FET group. Congrats on your pregnancy.

Im in the same boat, 6w3d and no symptoms. Ive also had 2 episodes of bleeding and my ultrasound is tomorrow and Im super anxious. My nurses wouldnt let me get another beta or move up my ultrasound. Fingers are crossed for you!

I think we gotta remember that every pregnancy is different and not everyone has the same symptoms. Ive read that its common for morning sickness to take up to 8 weeks of pregnancy to show up.

Ultrasound today for me and there is only one baby with a little heartbeat! Very surreal. My due date has been moved to Feb 15th which makes me 6+5 wks today.

Morning sickness commonly pops up by 7 wks, but there are a lot of people who don't get it! It's a good sign if you have it but not a bad sign if you don't. Good luck to everyone else having ultrasounds this week!

Hey Ladies !!
I had a 5 day FET estimated due date Feb 26 :)
I was hoping I would hear from the hospital today to book our first US.
As for symptoms the major thing is the fatigue !!
I can only stay awake for 5 hours at a time hahaha

- maybebaby I'm actually going to go to a midwife clinic instead of an OB. You can self refer and I did and my clinic will fax them the blood work and ultrasound results. I was told midwives will only take you if you are having an uncomplicated pregnancy. Any complications that come up they can refer you to an OB later if needed. My nausea was the same way. Felt totally fine one day (just tired) then woke up one day feeling like I had some combo of the flu or a bad hangover. I put up with it for 5 days barely functioning before I called the clinic to get some nausea meds. The meds don't take it away but I'm able to work. I also have used some vacation time the past few weeks to shorten my work weeks. I just can't manage 5 days of work right now. On a positive note this is week 8 for me and I had two days this week where i felt much better than I had...so maybe my nausea is on the downward trend! Fingers crossed!

Muffin - have you used midwives before? I haven't. First pregnancy for me but they seem awesome and I'm meeting them for the first time when I'm 11 weeks. They said no point to come earlier as my clinic follows me to 10 weeks.

MaybeBaby, yes you can self-refer. Depending on where you live it can be hard to get a midwife. If its a route you are interested in I would make a few calls soon!

Hi Sunny, I think weve been in the same group before somewhere? Congrats!

Baby-M, I have never given birth, but I have reached out to midwife groups once before. Midwives Collective of Toronto is apparently full scope and there is still an option to have an epidural if I want one. Birth place is choice of home, birthing centre, or Mount Sinai. I like these options. Hoping I get that far ;)

Also, if they transfer you to an OB, they can usually take over after you have given birth for 6w of home visits for you and your baby. Im into it!

So I had my ultrasound. It was at a satellite clinic in my town with an ob/gyn and I dont even know what to think. She couldnt see anything with the transvaginal ultrasound because there was an air bubble. She switched to the abdominal ultrasound and found a gestational sac which she measured at 11 mm.
She switched back to the transvaginal ultrasound with a condom on it instead of a plastic thing and could hardly get a look. Got a super crappy picture and measured it at 21 mm. She could barely get a view of the gestational sac let alone the yolk sac and fetal pole.
I am super scared and disappointed as I learned nothing new and I am thinking that maybe I should just fly to my clinic and get them to do an ultrasound.
All I could see was a black blob with nothing in it and Im scared its a blighted ovum.

Hi, Im new to the group. I started my first IVF journey November 2018, and I just had my first FET on June 7th 2019. Im 41, and I only had 1 normal embryo after CCS testing. I had a positive Beta on June 16th, and a good first ultrasound 3 days ago. I go back to my RE next Thursday to hear the heartbeat! I wasnt given a due date, but Im told Ill be entering my 6th week soon, so according to the online calculations, Im due February 22, 2019. This has been an amazing journey. Im so happy to have found a discussion board like this, and I look forward to the conversations🙏🏼
