Sorry I cant figure out how to copy a  link into this form so don't know if this will work but if you go to

www.babymed/fetus-crown-rump-length-crl-measurments-ultrasound.com

they have a good chart that shows what measurements should be.

Just had my second ultrasound and everything seems okay. Baby boy was measuring 11.6 and the heart rate was about 158 at 7w2d (I did PGS testing so I found out the sex last week!). I did have some bright red spotting yesterday (just a few drops) and my doc seemed very concerned, suggested I take time off next week to relax. They want me back again next week for another ultrasound.

Balance - lucky you get to stop the progesterone! I asked today and they said I need to take it until week 13. There are so many hard lumps on my bum that Im running out of spots to do the shot! I asked about the suppositories but they said they prefer the PIO shots and to try to keep those up as much as I can instead of switching off.

Mrs T - thanks for the link. Looks like Im measuring right on if I round up!

4 IVF cycles, 5 PGS tested "normal" 6-day blasts, 1 FET cycle so far..

Balance - Lucky you get to stop progesterone. I am on suppositories and they said I will have to take it till 10 weeks. Also still staking estrace.

firsttimer- that's a great heartbeat and measurement!! congrats on having a boy so exciting!!  I am going to do the harmony test at 10.5 weeks so I will find out then.

Thanks Mrs. T for the link.  Looks like I am measuring on track too.

I will be happy to be done the progesterone.  I did a natural cycle so no estrace or anything else and I assume that is why I also get to stop it earlier.

Firsttimeivfer - What you got to know already that it's a boy!!!  Congratulations!!!  I also did PGS but I thought we couldn't find out the sex in Canada....hmm I wonder if I should ask my clinic?  Is it you clinic who told you the sex?  I am so curious now, you have me all excited.  If I can't find out though I plan to ask on Monday at my OB appointment if I can do Panorama which tests at 9 weeks...but you have to wait ~2 weeks for the results.

Panorama is Lifelabs and Harmony is Dynacare (in Ontario anyway).  Panorama is 9 weeks and Harmony is 10 weeks.

There are a few differences in what they test for....but I would google them to get a good comparison because it goes into detail about what they specifically test.  I hope to get more information when I go Monday.  Maybe my doctor will recommend one over the other.  But I want to know the gender ASAP (so anxious and curious to know :)

Balance - they cant tell you before the transfer, but once its done they can tell you what they put in! They only put in one for me so they know for sure what it is :) my clinic has a lab that does the PGS testing so I just made my doc call the lab to find out. He wanted to wait until my appointment today to make sure everything was measuring well first but I insisted he find out for me last week!

Ok thanks!  Not sure my clinic will tell me but I may send an email to ask....hmmm I predict they won't tell me but worth a shot.

Congrats again!!

Its so exciting that you found out you're having a boy so early firsttimeivfr!

I'm on the suppositories and I'll be on them till 9.5 weeks, pretty much the day after my 2nd ultrasound which is scheduled on the 21st. I'll be very happy to be finished with the suppositories.

I only just found out about the Harmony/Panorama tests and I intend to ask about them at my next appointment, I would love to know the gender now!!  babygirl.gif babyboy.gif

Hey everyone, congrats on all your pregnancies!

I was not expecting the denial and anxiety I felt after finding out I was pregnant. For a long time I couldnt let myself believe it was actually happening. Im now 10 weeks 2 days and feeling a lot more comfortable and excited so I decided to join this thread.

For all the ultrasound questions - at 7 weeks I was measuring 3 days behind. My clinic didnt say anything but my midwife wanted me to repeat. At 9 weeks I was measuring right on. That 9 week ultrasound was so cool! I was amazed at how much we could see.

We have decided not to do the Panorama or NIPT test. We dont want to know sex of the baby. We are doing the genetic testing that is covered by MSP in BC.

I stopped the progesterone suppositories at 9.5 weeks. I would have preferred to go till the end of the first trimester but that was me being stressy. So far no change in symptoms since stopping. Though it is nice to be done with the discharge.

Hope all continues to go well with you!

It still feels like a dream and I wanna pinch myself, but it's finally happening!!!  Our DD is Jan 20th. Gonna be a long 7 mos and looking forward to going thru this with you ladies.

I'm very much looking forward to stopping all meds a week from day!!!! yyyaaaaayyyyy I've been on these meds for 9 weeks now... one more week to go! lol

I was able to stop my progesterone and had my first OB appointment yesterday.  I am now waiting for my 2nd ultrasound which will be next Monday and my OB will see me right after that too.

I have no symptoms except fatigue and sore breast at times.

I asked my OB about travel during the pregnancy and she wasn't too supportive.  But my brother is getting married in Vegas in October and I really want to go see my baby brother get married.  I will be 24 weeks the day of his wedding.  Of course if I book anything I will get cancellation insurance.  What do you guys think?  Would you travel during your second trimester?

Why doesnt your doc want you to travel balance? I was planning a trip to the Bahamas in September and didnt even think to ask my doc because I always thought it was safe to travel when pregnant!

4 IVF cycles, 5 PGS tested "normal" 6-day blasts, 1 FET cycle so far..

Cycle stats in my "about me" page!
