Hi Peter :)

Shortly after my last post to you, I started bleeding (heavily) and my beta came back negative.

While I understand that you can bleed and still be pregnant, a nurse made a comment to me that it normally wouldn't be a heavy bleed - is this accurate? She made a comment that I would likely need a double dose of PIO with my next cycle.

So here are my questions:

1. Could the lack of progesterone have affected/interferred with implantation?

2. If the double my dose in the future - is there any way to monitor if it is enough - or is really just a crap shoot?

Thanks again in advance!

Trudy

I am sorry to hear this

Not really, it varies from person to person

She made a comment that I would likely need a double dose of PIO with my next cycle.

Unless this comment is based on measured progesterone levels it is not a very useful comment.

So here are my questions:

1. Could the lack of progesterone have affected/interferred with implantation?

Possibly but there are so many variables it is difficult to point the finger at one.

2. If the double my dose in the future - is there any way to monitor if it is enough - or is really just a crap shoot?

If there is a concern that your progesterone levels are too low then they should be monitored by blood tests. There is no need to guess on this subject.

Good luck!

Peter
Thanks again in advance!
