My surro's NT scan will be May 14 - the day after Mother's Day.  She'll be 13 weeks, 1 day at that point.  We just had Harmony done and are awaiting results.

Moving on to donor eggs...

New donor embryos available!!! Trying with them

Writegal Good luck with the NT scan! That day is coming up feast! Hope you get your harmony results back soon! Well have the harmony bloodwork drawn Thursday.

Vennela, Im not 100% sure but I think even with a PGS normal embryo they usually recommend some type of genetic testing. I think the PGS only tests the chromosomes, which doesnt pick up as much as the prenatal testing. I dont know much about it though so maybe someone else has a better answer?

Vennela - Sorry, I'm not sure about any of the genetic testing/screening. I haven't looked into it myself yet but plan to ask my doctor about it at my next appointment. My ultrasound is May 10 and then my prenatal work up is the following Monday, the 14th.

Funny, how three of us have appointments on the 14th :)

Is anybody else still experiencing periodic cramping? I still have it on and off through out the day. Next Thursday can't come soon enough so that we can see the little peanut again.

Is anyone anxious about test results - my surro just had Harmony done (waiting for results) and then there's the nuchal.  I try to put my mind off this, but it doesn't always work!

It's 5-10 business days, to my understanding.  I assume it would be some time next week, since today is the fifth business day.  Congrats on your ultrasound!  153 bpm is a great heart rate!  How many weeks are you?

Hey All!

U/S went great today. Babe is measuring right on track with a heart rate of 166 BPM. He (we don't know the gender, but I think it's a boy) was very active, flipped onto his tummy and faced us well...the ultrasound tech even thought it looked like he had the hiccups! My SCH looks like it resolved itself as there was no sign of it. Was such a great appointment.

I've just ordered a printable Mother's Day announcement from Etsy to give to my husband's Mom...my Mom already knows as she was there when I had my bleeding scare. I've also ordered another announcement card to give out to our other friends and family!

I have my full prenatal workup on Monday!

I hope everyone else is doing well!

I just designed a pregnancy announcement but won't be posting it on social media or emailing anything out until after our nuchal.

When did people announce/when do you plan to announce (if you haven't already)?  Only a few people know right now (parents, in-laws, SIL and some people from my high school (saw them last weekend at our 20th reunion)).

CMRivf so glad your ultrasound went great and that your SCH is resolved now! When is your next ultrasound?

We have told only family and close friends for now. Ill wait a few more weeks to tell work yet I think.

Our next ultrasound isnt until July 5th! Were currently waiting on our harmony results, which should be sometime next week.

C_J - Haven't booked my next ultrasound yet. My full appointment with my Doctor is on Monday so I would imagine we will book it then. July 5 seems so far away but I bet it will come quickly!

I actually work for my husband's sister and her husband so that's been really helpful for this whole process. No questions asked about time off and such has reduced the stress so much!

At my ultrasound yesterday the technician said there was a thin NT which is what they like to see...Is the actual Nuchal more in depth than that?

I'm not sure if we are going to do the Harmony test or not now. I will talk to my doctor about it on Monday, but we are leaning more towards no at this point. Would anybody mind sharing why they decided to do the test? I haven't looked into it too much as I have been waiting for my doctor's appointment.

Harmony results:  Low-risk for everything (we paid extra to get everything tested)...and we're babyboy.gif !

Surro's nuchal is Monday...

@cmrivf:  We decided to do Harmony because our little one is from a donor embryo and we know nothing about the donors other than the information we were given - which doesn't say anything about their health.  We also want to be SURE of our risks.

Found Embryos: November 2016

Matched with Surrogate: April 2017, all adoption put on hold (never matched with a child)

Surrogate's First Transfer: July 2017 (one FET) - BFP, but m/c or chemical (unsure, since second beta rose more than 60%, but third beta dropped)

Surrogate's  Second Transfer: October 2017 (one FET) - BFN

Surrogate's Third Transfer: December 2017 (double transfer) - BFN

Moving on to donor eggs...

New donor embryos available!!! Trying with them

Surrogate's Fourth Transfer:  February 2018 - was to be a double transfer, but one did not survive thawing, so single transfer; First beta - 685!!!!!; Beta #2 - 1594!!!  eusa_dance.gif yahoo.gif

First ultrasound (at 7 weeks, 2 days): Heart rate of 154 bpm, measuring slightly behind (just under 7 weeks)

Second ultrasound (9 weeks, 1 day):  Heart rate of 170 bpm, measuring small (again) at a little under 9 weeks.  Basically, it is growing at a good pace, just small - UPDATE:  heart rate is 175 bpm according to an email from the clinic!

Harmony tests show that we are low risk and we're Team babyboy.gif

Surro just got back from her nuchal and our little guy is finally measuring on schedule (we were about four days behind at the last scan).  We don't have the exact results, but we aren't too overly worried (since we had Harmony done).  There are, of course, issues Harmony might not be able to detect (we requested ALL possible tests for Harmony, including one which costs extra).  We will likely announce to our friends later this week...
