My surrogate was not given an EDD when she had her ultrasound yesterday (yesterday was 7 weeks, 2 days), but we're supposed to be due on/around November 18, according to ivf.ca.  Our bean is measuring a couple of days behind, but the heartbeat is strong at 154 bpm!  She will have another ultrasound in a couple of weeks.

Started Researching Surrogacy: August 2016

Found Embryos: November 2016

Matched with Surrogate: April 2017, all adoption put on hold (never matched with a child)

Surrogate's First Transfer: July 2017 (one FET) - BFP, but m/c or chemical (unsure, since second beta rose more than 60%, but third beta dropped)

Surrogate's  Second Transfer: October 2017 (one FET) - BFN

Surrogate's Third Transfer: December 2017 (double transfer) - BFN

Moving on to donor eggs...

New donor embryos available!!! Trying with them

Surrogate's Fourth Transfer:  February 2018 - was to be a double transfer, but one did not survive thawing, so single transfer; First beta - 685!!!!!; Beta #2 - 1594!!!  eusa_dance.gif yahoo.gif

First ultrasound (at 7 weeks, 2 days): Heart rate of 154 bpm, measuring slightly behind (just under 7 weeks)

Second ultrasound (9 weeks, 1 day):  Heart rate of 170 bpm, measuring small (again) at a little under 9 weeks.  Basically, it is growing at a good pace, just small - UPDATE:  heart rate is 175 bpm according to an email from the clinic!

Harmony tests show that we are low risk and we're Team babyboy.gif

Hi ladies,

As you can see from my signature, the baby is still measuring a few days behind (but growth seems consistent), but the heart rate has certainly increased.  I'm not surprised that it didn't increase the "usual" 2-3 bpm, since it was already very strong at 7 weeks.  The surro's ultrasound was late in the afternoon, so we won't be expecting anything from the clinic until tomorrow.

I wonder if this means our little one will be on the petite side...

When does everybodys clinic stop progesterone and estrogen?? Im currently on 600mg of progesterone and 6mg of estrogen a day until 10 weeks (April 28). BUT I only have enough estrogen pills left to do 4mg per day. Do you think thats a big deal??!

Hi all,

I had frozen embryo transfer on Feb 26th 2018

now, I am 10 weeks 5 days.. my doctor told me to stop progesterone, estrogen medications step by step.. April 25th would be my last dosage of progesterone & estrogen medications..

My Pregnancy journey: I had 2 serious episodes.. which makes me & my hubby worried, that we may lost da baby..

1st Episode: It z started after 8 weeks of my pregnancy.. i started having black-stools.. so informed my doctor about da same, so they started checking my blood levels day by day.. on April 6th 2018 after checking my blood levels.. my doctor told me to check in da ER.. we did da same.. I was hospitalized for 3 days.. they blood transfusions, endoscopy, MRI Scan.. all with da permission of my doctor only.. da hospital doctors didn't find any unusual & da exact reason for dropping hemoglobin levels.. at last they told me to take Iron supplements.. now I'm recovering slowly.. now I'm having normal stools..

2nd Episode: On April 21st after nun.. I had gush feeling to urinate, I went to bathroom to urinate, but my pant was soaked with blood.. I had blood seeping out of vagina without a stop.. my bathroom's tub z full of blood.. after seeing da heavy bleeding.. my hubby cried that we lost da baby.. but, I had a feeling that baby z fine.. blood z coming out from somewhere else.. immediately we called 911.. they came & check my vitals & put IV & even 911 respondents thought i having miscarriage.. they took me to emergency.. In ER they did all da blood tests & did the ultrasound.. In Ultrasound.. baby z having heartbeat of 173 & baby z shaking hands & legs.. I was so happy.. that nothing was happened to baby.. ER doctor said in some pregnant ladies, they will have like thz heavy bleeding & told me to contact my doctor..

I just want to share with u all.. thank u..  My due date z Nov 14th 2018

Everyone take care of ur health

Hey ladies! Hoping I can join your group. I have a bit of an unusual story. We did 3 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, 2 IVFs and 2 FETs and I had one miscarriage and the rest were all BFNs. We were referred to another clinic for IVF with PGS testing when we found out we were spontaneously pregnant. That pregnancy resulted in my DD in 2016. We got referred back to the same fertility clinic a few months ago and had a sonohysterogram. That same cycle we found out I was pregnant again! I am 10 weeks 5 days now so am due November 15th. Even though we had spontaneous pregnancies, I still feel like I relate more to this group since weve had an extensive history of infertility. I have another ultrasound in a week and a half an am so nervous for that one!!

Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

For those of us who're going to be first timers, have you started looking at things to register?  I have a wish list going on Indigo, but have not started anything else other than browsing through various websites.  I'm thinking of registering on Amazon as I'm still a little unsure about Babies R Us.  They're TELLING us the Canadian stores are safe, but you STILL never know.  I'm also unsure how many people, other than friends, would be getting us stuff on the registry - I come from a culture where cash is norm.  In fact, my mom doesn't even THINK we should have one (she said the same thing when my husband and I married.  She came around and I suppose she will this time, too.  Dad is staying quiet).

C.J.:  Your due date is November 15?  Ours is on the 18th!  Our kids may very well have the SAME birthday!

This is our first as well :) I have been browsing a bit but am trying to wait until my 12 week ultrasound! Baby showers are a common occurrence in my area but I'm not sure if we will do a registry as we are planning on picking away at things over the next few months.

Would anyone mind if I started a list of the due dates on the page to keep track?

writegal416: So for my due date is November 15th but they said at my last ultrasound it was a bit too early to say for sure (I was 6 weeks 5 days st the time). Im having an ultrasound on May 3rd at the fertility clinic so will find out my official due date that day. We could be due the same day!!

I registered at a local baby store for my first baby. We had the baby shower after my daughter was born so I went and registered a few weeks before. It didnt help me with the big purchases though.

It looks like Toys R Us has been saved!  Here in Canada, anyway...  Still, there are so many places I want to register at (don't worry, it's not going to be a really long list - just a few items here and there from different stores), so I'm thinking of either using BabyList or My Registry.  Is anyone thinking of using them?

Vennela glad your ultrasound went well!

Writegal thanks for the link! I had heard that Toys R Us was closing but not that it had been saved! We bought a ton of stuff from there for my daughter.

Hope everyone is doing well! Its almost the weekend and the weather has really warmed up here!

Happyface Ive had lots of nausea too. It was really bad from weeks 6-9 but has eased off a little since then. Im still nauseous but its much better than it was. Im 11 weeks 6 days today. Im hoping the nausea improving isnt a bad sign! I have an ultrasound and NIPT bloodwork on Thursday. So nervous for that!
