Hello Everyone,

Not sure how to start this conversation. My partner and I are looking to start a family. We live in the Greater Toronto Area. I have been trying to do as much research as possible but have no idea on where to begin.

Looking for others in a similar position or those that have gone through the process. Where does one begin? How much should we have saved up? Where is the best place to go in Toronto? Is there a checklist on dos and donts?

Any point in the right direction would help!

Welcome chrono. A bit about your history would be helpful. I am not sure when you say partner whether you are a heterosexual couple or in a same sex partnership, and if so, male/male or female/female. How old are you? If you are young and time is on your side, I would say the best approach would be to refer yourself to a few clinics and meet with a few doctors. Get a feel for them, and get the tests out of the way to see what you are dealing with.

 

Read through these forums as there is lots of information already here. Do a search as many have asked questions about the clinics already.
