ladort - That's exciting, wishing you best of luck!!

I had my transfer today and it went smoothly. They said the blast thawed well and looked good, beta is scheduled for April 25th. I won't be able to resist testing before then, I just don't know when I want to start..

You showed a lot of restraint compared to me lol. Today is only 3dp5dt and I'm already having a hard time. I'll probably wait until 6 or 7 days post but then I won't be able to resist anymore. They said the blast was grading 17/20, which they seemed happy with. I think my daughter, who was our only other embryo from this IVF batch, was 18/20. I've been really sick with a sinus cold since Monday evening so I'm having a hard time finding relief with plain Tylenol and saline nasal rinse, but hoping being sick doesn't affect things. Any signs of your AF??

Oh that's great, you're getting your cycle started up again! I'm sure you can't wait to get back on the Suprefact lol. Fingers crossed this is your time! I've definitely got a sinus infection, just hoping it's viral and not bacterial. It's been about a week now so I'll give it a few more days and see my doctor if it's not getting any better. I don't want to have to go on antibiotics right now.

I tested on day 5 and couldn't tell if I was seeing an indent line or an actual positive.. but yesterday I tested on day 6 and I definitely saw a second pink line! I'm very cautiously optimistic and trying not to get my hopes up too high because it's so early, but I was so happy to see that second line!! I'll be driving myself crazy now until my beta!!

Thanks! It really feels like a long wait for the beta. Most of the women I've talked to on here from other clinics have their betas 12 days after transfer, plus a second beta a couple days later to make sure it's increasing. I had Dr Hamilton for my transfer! I wasn't sure who would be doing it, but I was happy to see her because she did my fresh cycle transfer too.

I'm not sure why AART makes you wait so long. In the states they do so many betas and early US too. What are you doing to keep busy? Are you working? I find that keeps me busier haha

If my beta is good on the 25th I'm definitely asking for a second beta! I know AART does an 8 week ultrasound but it would be nice to have a 6 week ultrasound and some more betas to make sure things are on track. I'm actually on my days off right now, so it's been hard to keep my mind occupied. It's hard not to test every day once you start, but I didn't test today. I'm going to tomorrow just to see if the line is getting darker, it was pretty light the other day. I've had too much time to think and I don't really feel that different, so I'm letting my mind wander...

Its hard to "feel" pregnant taking the progesterone as it gives you the same symptoms. I didn't know they did a 8 week U/S thats great news I thought they made you wait until 12 weeks. That makes me feel better as I had my miscarriage at 10 weeks and its such a long wait.

So much waiting all the time!!! Will you be followed by them on a regular basis if your beta is good? I don't know the process if its positive.

Every step feels like a waiting game, and when you finally get to the next step there's more waiting! With my fresh transfer my betas were good and they did an ultrasound at 8 weeks, so I'm assuming they would do the same for an FET. After the 8 week ultrasound, because I'm from out of province, they referred me to an OB in my home city to follow me for the rest of my pregnancy. If you're in the Halifax area I'm sure one of them could follow you if you wanted them to. I didn't hear from AART after my 8 week ultrasound until months after my daughter was born, and it was an email asking me to fill out questions regarding the outcome etc. I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage at 10 weeks, that must have been so hard. I agree that 12 weeks is a long time to make someone wait before having an ultrasound.

I tested one more time, on Friday, with a Clearblue digital with weeks indicator. It said Pregnant 2-3 weeks, which would put me between 4-5 weeks pregnant so that was pretty accurate. I haven't been feeling anything other than some cramping here and there, so I'm hoping that's not a bad thing. The waiting game for my beta on Wednesday is killing me.

Had my beta drawn this morning and just heard from the clinic.. it's positive at 1595!! I'm going for my 8 week ultrasound on May 16th and they gave me a tentative due date of Dec 26th! It all feels so surreal and I'm praying everything works out.

How are you doing? When is your day 21 to start Suprefact?

That's awesome, I'm excited you're finally getting things started again and hoping this is your time!!

I really haven't been having any symptoms, but this weekend I got some cramping and spotting. Today my lower back has been hurting pretty bad so I'm going for another beta tomorrow. I had to ask for it though, the clinic didn't offer it to me. It freaked me out to see the blood because this didn't happen in my last pregnancy, so I've been pretty stressed even though I know it happens to a lot of women. Just hoping for the best.

eatpraylove - It went super well. Al the pharmacist is very nice! I started stims on 10 May, 150 IU of Menopur at night. It’s not as bad as I thought. It just burns a little bit when I push it in. What sucks is the headaches. I don’t know if it’s suprefact, menopur or the antibiotics or all of them together haha. So far no bloating but I only had 3 shots so far.
Monday 14 May, I have my day 5 bloodwork. Let’s hope I responded well

You must be excited for your 8 week ultrasound :D
