Hi ladies,
I am back from hell. I am no longer pregnant. March 22,2018 @2:30pm I delivered my sleeping angelbaby girl. She was born sleeping peacefully. I got my sucessful VBAC. Every nurses and DR were really nice. No one judged me of what I did. Everyone Understand my circumstances and sittuation. My baby Bella was a beautiful girl of every inches of her tiny little body. She got her daddy’s lips and nose.
I got to hold her for a while and I got to tell her how much I love her and I was sorry that I had to do this to her. We did our of pure love and I hope she understands. We did what we think was best as a parents. We willing to hurt ourself and our feeling more than watching her suffer in thr future. The star is brighter in the sky since that night. She is so loved and hope one day I’ll get my rainbow baby girl back. Thank you so much ladies for all your support. I really hope you have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby at the end. Please remember that I am always here for you if you need me. I’ll be TTC again in the next couple months. Until then, I will enjoy every glasses of wine while I still can ;-)

CanadaMommy2, how are you doing? It has been a hell week I can imagine.

How is everyone else doing? Has anyone gone to their 20 or so wk ultrasound appointments yet? I have mine on Tuesday. Maybe I will find out boy or girl. I would love to know. If a boy, I will start sorting through and getting rid of all of the baby girl things I have from my first. If a girl, delightful... I can relax... I am all set!

CanadaMommy2,

A friend of mine had a similar situation years ago. She was told by the docs to get pregnant again quickly as her body would be very receptive to pregnancy having just been pregnant. She did indeed get pregnant immediately and their son is now about 10 I think. Of course the story is anecdotal... and years have passed and medical thinking might be different. I am just hoping you can go again quickly and not be stuck waiting and wondering. I think you are doing wonderfully. Biggest step is talking about it and continuing to talk about your lost girl. It will help. And it honours her to talk about her. Many people/family won't know what to say or how to say it... and therefore say nothing... but most do want you to talk to them if you are ready. And do message me personally in your bleaker moments if you want to. I will keep an eye on my inbox.

AKO - thanks so much hun. I have always been like this. It hurts to talk about her but I do love talking about her. There was no shame of what we did. we had to do what we think best for our little girl. Some people might be disagree with us but thats their problem ;-) they wont understand how we feel until they are in the same sittuation as us. My husband in the other hand, really quiet about it. He doesnt like me talking about her anymore. Which I was kinda disapointed in him a little. I guess men grief in a different way than we (women) do ;-)

Hi CanadaMommy2,

Yes, everyone does grieve differently. And it might just hurt him too much right now to talk about her. Some people just need to be as far away from the pain as fast as possible. You both have to do what you need to in order to cope. It puts a ton of stress on a relationship. Just keep good dialogue open with him and all should be ok. And both of you seek out others to help you with your way of grieving if it either of you need to. A therapist perhaps. Some people need to go for a good run / hike / walk to think about things and to be alone with their grief and thoughts ... others need to surround themselves with talk and people. it takes as long as it takes. Each of you has your own path up a hill... the same hill ... just different ways of getting there. Thinking of you guys.

All good. How are you? Wonderfully boring pregnancy for us. I never want to be an interesting patient to docs as that means there is a pretty major problem. I have a tiny placental leak but nothing to worry about I am told. I have some aches and pains in my hips and back but otherwise all great. Our gal is growing a lot and is perfectly average size. No sign of hypertension or pre eclampsia for me. Very peaceful really. (When our preschooler is asleep that is!)

We are planning a VBAC and that is a bit frightening to me. Our first was a premature emergency c section with a crazy amount of worry. Obviously our birth plan went out the window. I am really hoping I can have a vaginal birth but also scared of a vaginal birth not having done it before. I am not good with pain!

Hi AKO,

Glad to hear that everything seems to be going well. I'm doing good as well! Just the usual complaints about being uncomfortable and lots of braxton hicks contractions (which I never had with DS). I can't believe how fast time has flown by and that we're nearing our due dates already. I'm not quite prepared for her arrival yet, still have some shopping to do. I'm seeing my Dr. bi-weekly now.

I've heard lots of VBAC success stories. Are you planning on getting an epidural? I'm also frightened about having to go through labor and delivery again. It's been nearly 7 years but I still remember how painful the contractions were, although I was only in labor for about 5 hours and pushed for less than 15 minutes. My epidural didn't take so I felt everything and I remember telling myself that I never wanted to go through that again. You'll be fine! :)

Hey Aiden'sMom,

I have not gone to biweekly yet. I have had ultrasounds every 4 weeks at the high risk birth unit here in Ottawa and things look great.

I am not sure about an epidural. I remember when I was younger and planning pregnancy I always thought home birth... no meds at all... midwife. That is what my contemporaries did anyway. And I think I used to be a lot tougher! The reality of a decade of trying to get pregnant... a high risk premature birth with HELLP syndrome... emerg c section... a very long recovery... sort of threw that dream out the window. And I am 47 now having my second baby. So.... maybe I have to be honest with myself and say... yes pls epidural. I used to be a bit afraid of them (hate needles) but I needed a spinal for the c section and that wasn't bad. I was more afraid of what was happening than any needles or anything at that point.

What shopping do you have left to do? I have the basics done but am looking at a new baby monitor (ours is ancient) a gro-egg (our house has really varying temps room to room) prob a new stroller as I want to get out and moving and will need one with a ride on platform or bumper seat for my preschooler when she tires of walking (but that can wait for Spring as Winter is really impossible here outside and we can wear the new baby for walks in the Fall), and another car seat (we love Diono's Rainier which is a beast to haul about and fit in the car but so safe).

Have you thought of baby names? We have not chosen yet but I am working on Lucy, Lily, Lyra (leera pron), Maeve, Freya, Elin, Rosalyn. Our current daughter is Clara (Claara pron) Rose. We both like Lucy. But aren't sure.

How is everyone doing? I had my baby on 7/18 via induction due to developing cholastatis. She's absolutely perfect and we should be discharged tomorrow. Hoping everyone and their babies are doing well!

Thank you! :) We named her Eliana Grace and yes, we're all settled in now. She's 3 weeks old and is the best baby ever! DS was a fussy/colicky baby so we're very thankful for Eliana's calm nature. I'm exclusively pumping and my milk supply has come in abundantly, so I'm thankful for that as well.

Have you had your baby yet?
