I tried for a day and it went south really quick. But I'm lazy and so adding to the laundry list was not working. Do you think you are going to try it. It's cheaper!!!!

My first was in cloth and it worked really well, and yeah, so much cheaper.  For my second I found it too hard to change her as frequently because I was managing two kids at home at once, so we switched to disposable at about 3 months. I never used cloth at night though - too many leaks.

Week 10 has kicked my butt!  Hoping week 11 treats me better!  Despite being on diclectin - I have vomited all over this city - every day at work - every night - side of the road!

Trying to be grateful - but I am miserable!

Rebecca,  Sorry you have been sick.  My daughter's Dr. told her that the nausea peaks around week 10, so maybe you will start to feel better.  I suggest keeping peppermint or gum in your mouth.  Keep us posted.

It seems some of my post have disappeared.  I was looking back to see if I had announced that my daughter was having a girl.  I thought I had posted this information, but can't find it.  Anyway, we are having a girl.  All her tests were low risk, also.  What a blessing!

It's around $1000 NZ to have harmony test done to find out the sex here. How expensive is it on the States?

I didn't see a post about nana or B3hopeful having girls but see its been updated in the list! Two of each so far. Very exciting. Can't wait to hear all the potential baby names

My daughter went to the doctor today.  Heartbeat strong at 169.  She is  11 weeks 4 days (I think).  Waiting on the results of the glucose test.  Baby girl will be named Tinsley Catherine Davis.   Tinsley after her maternal great grand father who is still alive and Catherine after her paternal great grandmother who is deceased.  Anxious to hear from the rest of you "May babies".

PaulaandPortia - It is covered in most insurances here in states. I believe out of pocket is somewhere around $800.

AFM - My OB's nurse called me yesterday to let me know that my MT21 test came back low risk. I wasn't going to find out the sex but when she said the doctor ordered it anyways I caved and she said its a GIRL. I still have not told my husband yet. He wanted a boy so bad. I just haven't mustered up the guts to let him down yet.

We dont have a name yet. I have been waiting.

Great to hear positive results coming in and so many gender reveals already!

I have to redo my Harmony test on Monday because the test I did at 10+5 came back no results (not enough fetal dna to analyse). So this time I will be 12+5. I am kind of annoyed they sent me for it that early as the counsellor told me on the phone that ivf twin pregnancies often need to be tested later. So now I have to wait another few weeks to get the results. I do have an ultrasound tomorrow morning though which I am nervous about but also really excited for. I just need the reassurance of those heartbeats again. We won't know the sexes for sure, but they will be able to tell us if there is at least one boy. My testing is free in ontario as I'm 40.

I didn't really want to tell people about my pregnancy until I had my genetic results back, but my belly is getting too big to hide for much longer. Seriously I look about 4-5 months, not 12 weeks!

Taitertot, maybe the hormones for ivf are making you look more pregnant that you are? Did you do ivf sorry im not sure if you conceived naturally or not? But my friend did ivf and looked twenty wks but was only 14 wks!

B3 Hopeful, how utterly delightful you are having a girl, your husband will fall in love, just keep the news to yourself, and the day of the birth she will melt his heart. We have a daughter and even thou my husband wanted a son with the first pregnancy, he now is saying he doesn't mind another girl!! Giving it's so difficult to get pregnant I do feel your husband is being slightly insensitive and you wouldn't be wrong to put him in his place!!

The harmony test is not covered by our insurance, it sounds like it's even more expensive in the states though when I did the currency conversion, Our 1000 equals US 695$ so if it's if it's 800 $ its slightly cheaper here I guess

Will let you know as soon as we had our anatomy scan in around 6 wks.

My nausea is continuing to be very challenging, I'm hoping the 14 week mark will be the magic number for me. Im 13 wks today.

I love your names, nana and Rebecca, my favorite names for a girl are London and Tenley but noone else likes them :( and my crusty husband thinks
it's too early to be throwing names around. Sometimes men can be so darn ARGH annoying!!

The shirts should be here Tues. so I will do it Wed. morning.

PaulaandPortia - I'm so sorry nausea is still hanging around. Hang in there hopefully you start to see some relief really soon.

B3Hopeful,

I love your "plan" to tell your husband.  My husband and I had 2 girls.  When the second one was due, he naturally said hope this one's a boy.  When our little girl was born, he was so happy.  Now they are both grown and married and he often says, I am so glad we had 2 girls.  They were playmates (sometimes not so friendly) and now are best friends who look after each other.  AND they both were Daddy's girls and he adored them.  Spoiled both of them rotten.  I pray your husband will only look at it as another miracle for him to spoil.  Our daughter made her "official" announce through facebook yesterday with the cutest pictures.  She was overwhelmed with over 700 likes and 300 comments.  So now the world knows and we are so excited.

I love your names, nana and Rebecca, my favorite names for a girl are London and Tenley but noone else likes them sad.png and my crusty husband thinks
it's too early to be throwing names around. Sometimes men can be so darn ARGH annoying!!

I was quite bloated during the ivf process and gained about 5 pounds during the 2 weeks of stims, but I'm pretty sure that the size of my belly now is because there are two in there! Sorry to hear your nausea continues. Mine seems to have turned the corner and now it's just first thing in the morning and last thing at night which is a relief from all day.  My ultrasound went well and we saw both babies moving a lot and good heartbeats. Feeling more confident now!  Will get my Harmony results in 2 weeks.

p.s. I really like the name London!

I started the ivf process last year at 120 and I am 145 right now. I'm showing but I wonder how much of it is just weight gain 😓. I am still sick. Throwing up a few times a day. Doesn't really seem to be getting better but hopefully that means I have a healthy baby! 12 week ultrasound on Friday. Nervous and excited.

Hey everyone I have been absent for a while with writing but I have kept up on all and so excited that so many of you know gender and have even picked some names.

AFM - today I am 13 weeks and 4 days and my GS started to bleed during the night moderate amount of blood not enough to fully soak a pad. She had a Doppler yesterday and the heart beat was heard everything seemed fine, she did not have a scan. Called Doctor on call and they said to call again this morning and they would schedule an ultrasound. I know we are all here for better or worse to share stories, so I wanted to fill everyone in and I will update when I know more good or bad.

Bay area - I hope the ultrasound goes/went ok. Bleeding is scary, although I understand it happens quite a lot with no negative consequences. Anyway, let us know how it is going. It must also be hard for you being at a distance from your GS.
