I had the panorama test and it came back low risk and it's a girl! Any boys on this feed yet? I was wondering if I am low risk is my missed miscarriage rate really low now? Still worried about a miscarriage. 12 weeks 3 days today!

Ultrasound yesterday showed the placenta is covering my cervix. He said it should shift up.

@BADM sorry to hear of the blood loss, hope it's just the placenta shifting or shearing off, which is something I was told by the ivf crowd when I had that... Update as soon as you know! The risk of miscarriage is very low after 12 wks but nothing can be taken for granted... Im 14 wks tom and had bad round ligament pains over the last few days and managed to worry myself to death until they finally passed and I woke this morning without a single cramp.

Burton, your risk def decreases all the books say so, especially so after the baby reaches 12 wks and is fully developed, from then it just grows, but you prob know this.

Sorry you still feel ill, I am too..

Hey everyone I have been absent for a while with writing but I have kept up on all and so excited that so many of you know gender and have even picked some names.

AFM - today I am 13 weeks and 4 days and my GS started to bleed during the night moderate amount of blood not enough to fully soak a pad. She had a Doppler yesterday and the heart beat was heard everything seemed fine, she did not have a scan. Called Doctor on call and they said to call again this morning and they would schedule an ultrasound. I know we are all here for better or worse to share stories, so I wanted to fill everyone in and I will update when I know more good or bad.

So sorry to hear that. I had alot of bleeding in my last pregnancy and baby was always ok, it seems so common with ivf but still so scary when you are dealing with it. Thinking of you and I hope all is ok.

Thanks for all the positive messages, the bleeding has stopped and all seems well again. An ultrasound was done and a small Subchorionic Hematoma was seen. The heartbeat was within normal limits and plenty baby movement as seen. We were to report back if any further bright red blood was seen or if the brown colored had not fully stopped after 72 hours. Right now I am very hopeful that all is okay, thanks again everyone, I loved all the positive words and best wishes.

Bay Area - Good news! This is such an emotional journey!

I just had my 13 week ultrasound - and she thought she saw a penis - the Dr thinks boy!!!!!!  Josh won't let me tell anyone until our next ultrasound on Jan 3 - but I needed to tell someone!

My heart is full - baby was holding his toes - I can't even stop staring at his ultrasound pics...dreaming of a little guy!

Hi everyone! I'm 13+5 today and feeling much better from the nausea. Still on diclectin because I notice if I'm late with a dose I feel worse later in the day. Still sleeping 9 hours a night and need to lie down during the day too. We had a great u/s 10 days ago and my midwife said everything looked good. We got a great picture of the two of them head to head and moving quite a bit. Still waiting for my Harmony results.

So glad to hear that the bleeding has been resolved @BASM!  Also nice to hear others getting reassuring test results.

Glad to hear things are better. I understand how scary it is. Last week I started bleeding out of the blue and it was due to a small Subchorionic Hematoma. Luckily the baby is fine and within 48 hours the bleeding had stopped. I went to the OB a few days later and was assured it is very common and normally clears up on its own.

Hi all, I'm 14 wks 5 days and unfortunately I can't report any relief from nausea yet... I ran out of my medication and suffered badly for a few days, but I've been back to the Dr and he gave me about another months worth, and looks like I'll need them... 😫 that's about it from me, just the complaining

PaulaandPortia - sorry to hear that! Hang in there.  With my second I had nausea until 18 weeks, then finally it went. Although mine has been better this week, I skipped a dose of my meds to see if I could go off them and started gagging a few hours later... so I refilled my prescription early to make sure I don't run out!

Finally got my Harmony results - all low risk and we are having at least one boy!

Hello Everyone !
My official due date isn't until June 28, but I am carrying twins and my last birth (with one) came five weeks early. She is almost 5 now and is healthy as a little rascal can be-
I told my OB I thought she'd come early. He didn't believe me. At 34 week, (while sleeping) I thought I peed on myself. It turns out I had a "gross" (aka Large) water break.
Because of my previous history and twins (which are known to come early) I believe I will deliver in May (hopefully the end).

We had to do ICSI and we're successful on our FET of Oct 11. We transferred one girl and one boy. Four weeks later we found out one split and I was carrying triplets---- but one didn't make it. We are still unsure if we have the originals or identicals.
We go in for our next ultrasound on Wednesday.

I have been suffering from severe nausea. What got me to reach out and write was the writing about naysea. You guys made me feel that I wasn't alone. I need my medicine to function.... otherwise it's so bad.

Thank you for writing what you have been through and what you are going through. Again, it made me feel that I am not alone.

Sounds like you are going to have some May babies, also.  Welcome.  My daughter's little girl is due May 27.  I , also, anxiously watch the other parents here for updates.  Praying for healthy babies for you.

Hey ThirdTimesACharm! Fellow twin mom to be!  wavey.gif Sorry you are feeling so crummy and glad you posted!  The exact same scenario happened to my friend - she put in two, one split and one didn't make it and she ended up with identical twin girls. They didn't find out until they did a dna test after the birth which confirmed they were identical.

Hi everyone,

I haven't chimed in in a while, but I've been following everyone's progress! I wanted to see if anyone else had any adverse affects after ending their progesterone oil/endometrin inserts. I don't know if it's 2nd trimester, or the abrupt stopping of those hormones, but I suddenly have almost constant headaches along with some upper back pain. I've reached out to my doctor and am waiting to hear back if there's anything to be concerned about (the internet seems to have a problem with the combo of headaches and upper back pain which could mean preeclampsia... but it seems way too early to be thinking about that as an issue). I really think it has to do with the transition off progesterone, but ...the internet... doesn't say much about adverse symptoms afterwards.

Also, whose showing? Can we share photos here? So far I just feel extremely bloated but the hubs laughs at me and reminds me I have a peach or a lemon in my uterus right now. I didn't gain any weight during the first trimester but the scale is showing almost 4lb gain in the last 1.5 weeks! What?! Maybe the hormone adjustment again? Water weight? Either way, just happy I'm here and can finally complain about this stuff ;)

xo.

Sarah

I am definitely showing but also down a pound - from 4 weeks ago.

I am also struggling most days despite being on diclectin.

I have no motivation to decorate or wrap for Christmas and I usually LOVE doing this - I usually host a cookie exchange party/tree decorating party - but just can't this year.

I had this image of myself skipping around in beautiful maternity dresses eating salads and getting the house ready- not even close our house is a mess I am just wiped between throwing up and diarrhea....the good thing is that I usually get a few days of relief here or there.

ThirdTimesaCharm - how exciting - I am so curious on which two are left!!

Hi Everyone

I havent posted in a while - I've been so so sick.  I spent 2 weeks in the hospital last month and now I go to the hospital 3 x per week for IV fluids and vitamins cause I can barely keep anything down.  I'm down 15 lbs since conceiving and can barely function.  I am on 4 prescription meds - ondansetron, diclectin, ranitidine, and maxeran plus taking gravol regularly as well.  I am almost 15 weeks and there seems to be still no end to this extreme nausea and vomiting. I cannot believe it is this bad, it is absolutely horrible.  I just pray that it ends soon so I can feel normal again.  I'm definately not showing yet.

Either way, just happy I'm here and can finally complain about this stuff wink.png

xo.

Sarah

Sorry you've had these effects since coming off the progesterone! I know that headaches are very normal for second trimester.  I have been having them in the last week and I've been off all meds since my beta. I also think it's too early to worry about preeclampsia. I imagine the combo of second trimester and coming off meds is causing your pain. Hope it calms down soon.

I am definitely showing - and noticed that the weight starting piling on once first trimester ended too. Part of this is because I"m feeling better and eating better. My weight increase in pregnancy has always been stepped rather than continuous which my midwife assured me was normal.
