He was our first baby and we can't replace him in our heats yet, but thinking about next year to take another one. .. this year is to relax and maybe travel somewhere... need to clear my mind. and I hope that next year I will not be able to travel as will be pregnant and will concentrate on the house reno.
You mentioned acupuncturist.... I'm looking for one. How did you find yours? is she/ he a fertility speciality or just general?

MMV - I am so glad to hear that you are alright. I know it is very hard to cope with the lost of the baby. I would like to say that time heals, but it has not worked for me, at least not yet. Just hang in there and have lots of support from your family.

wishMum - Thank you for your foughts. My ob told me yesterday that ultrasaund looks good and everything is out, so i do not need D & C. I am so happy! I can finally start putting this chapter of my life behind and move on to the next one, the happiest of them all, i hope. I am sorry to hear about your other dog. It is very hard. I have a border collie/lab who is 11 years old. Very smart and calm. He is amazing. And second one is boxer, who is 3, a pain the the ...lol He is complete oposite from border collie/lab. He absolutely keep us busy. From what i understand rat terrier are very active and handfull dogs, once she comes out of her shelf, look out.

I now what you mean about contant waiting Ladies. It seems like everything you have to wait for and time just sleeping away and we keep getting older. I feel like there is never enough of time ever since we started trying and so much to do. I am really hoping that upcoming IVF are going to be a success stories for all of us.

Have a happy Wednesday.

My previous post was not complete... somehow first half got erased.
I was talking about our dog.
that we lost our Dear dog a couple of months before IVF. It was a bad luck as doctor said. he was 6 years old.
that's what I was trying to say...

I think Hopeful is right MMV, you will know when it is the right time for another dog. For us we knew Zoe was the dog of a lifetime, but there were so many others that needed homes we felt we had to start paying back for being so blessed with Zoe. So we have this crazy rat terrier. She is a dear one. In time she will get more secure.

I hope everyone is well this weekend.

Take care.

MMV - how are you feeling? My lower abnominal hurts every now and then, i assume that is normal. Waiting for the period now, so i have something to tell the clinic and maybe have some dates scheduled. I know that i am dreaming, but there is always hope.

Wishmum - how are you? How is your pup doing?

I'm fine so far - thanks for asking. Booked a trip yesterday to Caribbean as I need to clear out my mind.
Unfortunately it will be a long wait for us and probably next ivf will not come before next year...
I really hope that you girls will get there before me and will be my positive muses and support when I can get down to this process again.

My dh will have to go for varicocele repair surgery (still waiting for date) first and then we have to wait for a couple of months, do another sperm test and hopefully he will have better count and we can go for second IVF...
so... doesn't look like before spring....

Hopeful, how are you feeling as well?

Kats I should be doing an FET around the same time as your retrieval. I will know better once I have a Day One .. hopefully next week.

Hi girls,

hopeful4miracle - Yes, i am doing fresh cycle because last time I got over-suppressed and ended up with only 6 eggs retrieved. I did have two good embies transfered but BFN.

wishmum - that would be awesome to be so close together. My AF is supposed to start on Aug 23 (I'm like a clock) so i should starts my stimming meds on Aug 25. When is you AF due?

Hopeful I am so glad you are healing. Yes it is hard and sometimes are worse than others. (((hug))) Be gentle with yourself.

Kats it is so hard to say. That rest cycle after IVF is a little wacky for me but but my guess next week should be it. I hope so. I am trying to juggle logistics at work so a labour day transfer would be best. I am working every weekend after this in hopes I can get ahead so I can take 4 days off post transfer. Here's hoping. It will be wild doing such a simpler protocol. Seems almost insane that I am going for less intervention at my age, but I was pregnant before...so I have to believe I can be again...you know? I hope we are close in cycles too and can share good news at the same time.

Hi girls,

Hope you're all doing well.

wishMum - sorry for AF delay. When you want it to come it does not and when you want it to stay away, the stupid thing comes early (like my last IVF). Hopefully, you'll get it soon. Waiting is so frustrating!

I am a bit happier today because I had laparoscopy, hysteroscory and hsg done on Aug 5 (CD11) and was told by many people that my AF might be skipped altogether or be very late. I was very worried because my IVF cycle depends on it and I'm so happy today because it finally came (2 days early) so I'm starting my stimming on Saturday with tentative ER for Sept 3! It is nice when things go a bit faster than expected.
My last IVF I started suppression in February and had ER in May  3 months of suppression, so this cycle seems so fast. I don't know if it's good or not. I guess we'll see.

Wow Kats.

We are getting super close to each other.

Hopeful, Aunt Flo is sipping gin in my house tonight. Who knew? Wearing my favorite underwear without a pad did the trick. I loved that underwear but ah well sacrificed to the cause...

So chances are my FET will be around the 8th or so. Kats if it is the 7th we may be in the back at the same time implanting simultaneously. How wacky would that be?
