We need an egg donor. We're in Alberta and went through all the blood work,tests,counselling,etc. in B.C. We flew ourselves and our egg donor to B.C. for final testing and counselling. Then we hear that our donor needs to lose 40 pounds in a few months or we can't do the IVF.
I am more heart broken than you can imagine right now. We need an egg donor as soon as possible. We're so close but so far. Where do I turn? Who can help us? I don't know where to look now. I don't have family here, I don't know many people and for the sake of 40 pounds, they will not do an egg retrieval on our donor. We just need a donor and I don't know what to do anymore.
