Hi,

I am 25 and DH is 28. We have been ttc for a bit over 2 years . We did 3 IUIs: 2 natural and 1 with clomid . The doctor says that we are a mystery to her as everything seems to be fine .... my periods are regular , I ovulate , hubby's sperm is good , tubes are clear .
I want to try naturapth /accupanture before or in conjunction of doing another treatment ( probably IVF). I was wondering how can a naturapth help in our situation ?

Thanks very much!

I have always seen a naturopath, even before our fertility issues.  I like their holistic view of the human body, and how they very much focus on diet and lifestyle factors.  Our bodies are so complex.  It is VERY important to do your research and think critically.  I am sure there are some naturopaths that are just out to make money.  My naturopath suggested some dietary changes that have made a huge difference with my digestion, energy level, and my menstrual cycle.

Most naturopaths are familar with Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture, but if I was going to do accupuncture, I would go with someone trained in China in TCM over a naturopath.

I see you are in the Toronto area.  I have heard very good things about  Dr. Ye - apparently his office is full of people he treated who were able to get pregnant and he specialises in unexplained infertility.  Two of my coworkers have credited him for their pregnancies (both in their late 30s, unexplained infertility).  I have never been there myself, as our issues are male factor, but if we had unexplained infertility, that was going to be my first call.  Here he is on Rate My MD - you can read the positive comments https://www.ratemds....Toronto-ON.html
