We are an East Indian couple that went through IVF a few years ago. We have our family now but still have an extra embryo in storage. We are considering our options at this point. If we find the right family, we will consider donating it to them. If we do so, we would want the adoption to be "open". In other words, we will want to know whether the FET results in a pregnancy, how the pregnancy progresses and, ideally, would want annual emails about how the child is doing. We would not interfere with your raising of the child. We would just want to know that he or she is doing okay. If he or she wants to get to know his or her siblings (that is, our children), that would be okay as well. We are in the Vancouver area. Our clinic is PCRM. The clinic says that the chances that the embryo will result in a pregnancy or live birth (I do not know which one) is 50%. If you are interested, please provide us with some information about yourselves. We really want to ensure that, if we go the donation route, we are donating to the right family.
