From Chewbacca to an Ewok

A scheduling mistake turned Chewbacca into an Ewok. So today was my appointment at the Spa to finally get a Brazilian. As soon as I got there, the receptionist was apologizing that there have been a scheduling mistake and the lady that was doing Brazilian wasn't in so they booked me for a Bikini instead. Normally, I don't have any patience for mistakes but on this occasion, I was glad.

As I wait in the lounge room, I felt like my heart was in my throat and I was so nervous. Then in a few minutes "Lydia" called out my name. I asked her if I could use the washroom first because I might just pee my pants and she said the famous lines again, "It's not as bad as you think." She led me to a very nice room with soft relaxing music. She asked me to lie down and pull up my dress. Then she told me to grab the side of my thigh and just relax. She lathered my bikini line with warm wax and put on the strip on top. Then she just let it ripped! Holy crap! Did it hurt! I felt tears rolling down my cheeks..But I kept telling myself, "Don't be a baby!" So I just continued to lie still and preventing myself from screaming too loud!!! I kept thinking of the movie "The 40 Year Old Virgin". when Steve Carrell was getting his chest hairs waxed.



I seriously wanted to scream "F%#k you Kelly Clarkson!" I was thinking, I am seriously paying this woman to torture me. By the time she was done the left side, I wanted to run but then I thought how awful would that look. So I sucked it up. As soon as we were done, the lady suggested to book a Brazilian a week before my due date. I asked her if it's to help me induce labor? She just laughed and handed me a soothing gel.

As soon as I got home, I checked it out and it looks like an Ewok...LOL! Would I do it again? Absolutely! NOT! There's a lesson learned in a hard and painful way...
