Well as most of you have probably already seen, I'm NOT pregnant. :th_abs:

So now I have to decide what to do next. My options are A. Start a new cycle for FET as of bright red flow. B. Meet with the Dr. that is Head of the Lab to review my remaining 9 embryos. (This will determine whether we should keep them and try another FET or discard of them and do IVF#2 and then fresh transfer.) and C. Take a break! and possibly call in day 1 in November. (But the drive is long and weather is unpredictable) October is so busy as it is, but I think I do want to try again, I will just have to hope that it doesn't interfere with what's planned for this month. I'll keep you posted and I am definatly going to check up here every few days to see how everyone is doing.

Back to normal for me for now, I'm going to mop all my floors, vaccuum, clean the bathroom, do all the dishes and not rest until the night falls because now, I CAN!!

oops...by do all the dishes I ment laundry! lol. Dishes are done, laundry is piled up. Too worried about lifting too much. LOL

So sorry, about the outcome. If you are feeling like you need a break, take one. Maybe it is time to review why it hasn't worked repeatedly with your Dr. and come up with a game plan. A short break might allow you to do this, and take some time to process this loss.

We have a long drive to our clinic too, and part of the reason I opted to wait until after we did a laproscopy/hysteroscopy was that it meant one more question would be answered, but also that we would cycle in the spring when I didn't have to deal with unpredictable weather, and another source of stress.

Maybe it is time to review options to try improve the odds in your favor. Maybe you could ask your doctor about adding a low dose steroid, like dexamethasone, to your protocol. This is sometimes done when a doc isn't sure why implantation isn't happening. Many doctors that won't do immunological testing or even acknowledge this is a possible cause for implantation failure will include low dose steroids in their protocol.

Good luck. Whatever you decide it will have to be the right decision for you, and only you can know what that is.

I'm so sorry for you. HUGS. I just met my BPN. and thinking about the same options like you. If I were to decide for another IVF, day 1 would have to be November 1st to start BCP, which makes transfer in X-mas time. I think that clinic will be closed... so...

Melissa - sorry to hear of your bfn. it's very heart breaking. you do have some choices - you just have to pick the one that is best for you. Though do you mind if i ask why you would discard 9 frozen embies?

from the sounds of things you have lots to keep you busy - which is good!!

Seems a shame to discard what could be healthy embryos. Are they day 3 or day 5? If day 3, is there any chance of letting a few of them try to grow to day 5 to pick the best ones? (I think someone else on this site tried that.)

I'm sure there are lots of possibilities. I would chat with your clinic and maybe even get a second opinion somewhere else.
