My DH & I have been going through IVF for 2 years and have only had one full cycle. We've done a year of freezing embies only to have them either not mature or begin to show signs of chromosomal abnormalities. We are both 41 years of age and want more than anything to have a child. Last Wednesday I had a ER and my doctor was able to retrieve 4 follicles. Of those 4, only 2 were able to be fertilized so last Friday (we did a 2 day transfer), those 2 were transferred. The doctor told us that they were 3 cells & 5 cells (we've never had a 5 cell embryo before), needless to say that we are in good spirits. I still have to wait until next Friday to get have the official pregnancy test taken but I was wondering if, in the meantime, has anybody done at home pregnancy tests because this 2 ww is KILLING me!!!

I think most women here do test at home.  Some daily.

My preference is to test the day before or the day of beta.  Because nothing is 100% until Beta and any negative test before that would just crush me.  It's really up to you and how you will feel if you do have a negative result when testing early.

I hope that you find success and have a strong beta!!!

I have not once, but twice had HPT show up negative on the morning of a positive beta, so I won't touch them now. Do what feels right to you but know that nothing is more accurate than the blood test. Sending you sticky vibes!

Hello everyone. I just had my first FET on April 12, 2017. This is our second IVF process as the first time it didn't take.

I am now 3dpt of a 6 day blast. Or shall we say a 5 day blast to make it easier. We had two snow babies transferred... a little boy and a little girl babyboy.gif babygirl.gif . In which we learned the sex due to a PGS test. Praying for a miracle as I used my own eggs and I am 42.

This 2ww is horrible already this time. I promised myself I would NOT POAS this time because I was disappointed not once but twice last time. Trying so hard to wait. Keeping myself busy has been good and is helping.

I have been having headaches, mild twinges or cramps, a bit of blurry vision and nausea. Been resting as much as I can. Eating very healthy all warm things, keeping socks on my feet, eating pineapple core and brazil nuts. Drinking lots or room temp water or non-caffeinated teas. Mostly water though. I have been extremely tired and exhausted as well. I have been very emotional and I am sure this is from the progesterone and estrogen. Such a big cry baby right now. Very moody too. Also, my sense of smell has intensified. Just praying for a miracle now.

Good luck this month everyone. Lets make these babies stick. giggle.gif th_anoaf.gif

Congrats Mia11!  Does anyone else have their mind constantly switch on them?  One minute you think the cycle will be successful and 5 minutes later you question your positive thoughts?  I am 2 dpt of two 5 day blastocycts.  Beta is scheduled for the 28th and not sure how I will survive the wait! smile.png

Yes, for sure! One minute I think my transfer worked and the next I'm questioning it. I've even had positive HPT's this cycle and then I doubt it the next day because I'm worried I'll have a chemical. Ugh. This process is terrible on our nerves, isn't it?
