Hi Aiti, just a reminder that the RE here is a volunteer who responds as he has time. Also, please keep in mind that he is not likely to be able to give specific medical advice as he does not have access to your full medical file. As others noted when you previously posted these results, you are more likely to get actionable advice from your own doctor.

Good luck!

Yep, the costs are hard for most of us.  Maybe collecting a list of questions and things you want to review so that you have them at hand when you do visit would help make things more cost effective.

Good luck!

Hi Aiti,

As mouse indicated, it is difficult to give advice by just looking at a test result. Did the doctor who ordered this test review it with you?

As for the test results, the concentration, motility and morphology seem to be in the normal range. But whether or not you need treatment is determined by many other factors, not just a sperm test.

Best of luck!

Aiti, sorry finances are tricky. They are one of the most awful stresses in infertility. Unfortunately, you won't be able to get formal Medical advice here on this site. The regular posters can share their experiences and knowledge (which is invaluable) but it won't apply to you or your situation. The doctors who post are volunteers who help people navigate general areas and questions, but they can't dispense formal/comprehensive Medical advice to a specific individual.

If you paid for tests like a semen analysis, the doctor who ordered it must explain the results and implications to you. Starting with your original doctor is your best bet.

Good luck

I'm 39 with endo

IVF #1: March 2016: Long protocol: Suprefact (200)/Menopur (225)

    9 follicles => 4 eggs => 3 mature => 3 fertilized (ICSI) => 2 blasts (one transferred, one frozen)

    BFN

IVF #2: June 2016: Microdose flare: Suprefact (40 BID)/Menopur (150)/ Gonal (300)

     7-10 follicles (?) => 12 mature eggs => only 4 fertilized w/ICSI => transferred 2 @ 3days and 1 blast frozen

     BFP:  day 14 beta = 93, day 18 beta 557 (37h doubling time)

     Ultrasound July 21 = single, live intrauterine pregnancy

     .... so hopeful it sticks!
