Hey Ladies, quick question! What would be the reasoning for doing a freeze all eggs cycle?

Just wondering, as my doctor ran this idea by me as well!

Thanks!!

Hi Bre, I did a freeze all cycle because when I went in to transfer on day 5 I had too much fluid build up from OHSS symptoms to transfer. The thought was, if we went ahead and did the transfer, and it worked, OHSS symptoms could become much worse and you could be hospitalized.

Other reasons would be, you've decided to do PGS testing and they won't be back in time to transfer 5 days later.

You estrogen and progesterone hormones may be out of range and it would be pointless to transfer. Some clinics are moving towards only doing freeze all cycles, because your body is under less stress and it may have a higher success rate.

I hope this helps, and good luck.
