HI everyone : ) so much going on since I last logged in. Welcome to everyone who has recently joined. Please forgive me if I forgot anyone.

Real3D - so exciting about cycle starting : ) March is coming up so soon. Wishing you all the best.

Bug88 - welcome :) we have the same amount of frozen embryos. My lo is 16 months and I weaned her just shortly after she turned 15 months. I was actually planning on breastfeeding her a bit longer but suddenly she decided she was done lol. In a way it worked out as I wanted to be done breastfeeding when FET started. Good luck with your cycle!

Puzzlepieces - Welcome : ) Wishing you all the best as you begin your cycle.

Eyedoc - so nice you became pregnant naturally, it has been my hope since AF returned but nothing. It is awesome to see that It can still happen even when you think it could not : )

AFM - I still have not called the clinic : | I had actually planned to call today, but of all the days my dd decided nap time was not going to happen today lol. So we spent our morning reading and going for a walk. I really need to make this call, I have a feeling the longer I wait the later they will give me an appointment, and we are really hoping for a summer transfer (june/july). Will try to call tomorrow.

Thanks Ladies!

I have PCOS and we were also dealing with severe male facto so we certainly never expected it to happen. My cycles were never regular and it was only my second period post partum.

I was 8.5 weeks pregnant before I even knew! I never get symptoms with my pregnancies.... the only reason I knew I was pregnant was because the clinic prescribed me Provera to start my cycle so I could repeat my baseline testing. They told me to do a pregnancy test first (rolls eyes, right?). It was never abnormal for me to have 90 day cycles. I almost died when I took the test - like total disbelief. But I'll take it. Lol. Never ever in a million years did we think we could get pregnant naturally.

Thought I'd pop in and say hi. Also TTC a sibling for my little girl, who is going to be 2 in April. She is an IVF-ICSO fresh cycle baby and i started cycling last week for my first FET. Lining check scheduled for Feb 21 :) I have no known fertility issues but my husband had testicular cancer twice and bilateral orchiectomies so IVF-ICSI was our only option...can't get pregnant from the silicone prosthetics ;)

Real3D - my tentative transfer date is a month before yours! Also decided not to wean and so far the breast-feeding has been OK! My LO got super sick the day I started the estrogen and went from her usual 2-3 feeds/day to 8+. Making me nervous but the RE said it's not an issue - I guess we'll find out. I was worried about decreased supply/sore nipples but so far the only issue I have had was pretty bad nursing aversion the first few days while adjusting to the meds. Past two days the LO is a bit less interested in nursing which is REALLY abnormal for her (she constantly tells me how much she loves 'mamma milk') so I'm wondering if the taste has changed at all.
Anyway, thought I'd share my experience :) Fingers crossed for next week!

Good luck everyone!

Praying for a bean: totally get how the day gets away from you with the chaos of a little one. Maybe we ll cycle around the same time.

Hi Leah: good luck with your lining check!!😀

Eyedoc: I got the shivers reading your post about your surprise BFP!! We have severe MF too. What was your DHs count like. How exciting!!!

I actually can't remember his countse exactly (last time that would have been checked would have been 2014!). But, I do know that our clinic likes at least 5 million post wash for IUI and we were never even close to that for the 3 IUI's we attempted. Morphology and motility were also bad for us. My DH had a varicocele which the urologist recommended we treat to see if it helped any. Well, it didn't really. They checked his counts 3 months after surgery and we were still in the same situation. So MAYBE his counts did improve and it just took longer to see the results and that is how we got pregnant naturally? Or we just got really lucky. 🍀

Real 3D 😖

I'm excited to join this new 2017 group now that I'm finally ready to try for baby #4. We currently have DD1 - 13, DS - 11, DD2 - 23 months.

Hubby is paraplegic. We did one IVF/ICSI cycle in March 2014. Fresh transfer resulted in a chemical but we froze two blasts.

Our FET in June 2014 was successful and our daughter was born in March 2015.

We will be doing a FET with our last embryo in mid-April. I'm just waiting for AF and will then do a sonohysterogram a few days later. Heading to the lab tomorrow to do blood work as well.

Good luck to everyone!

Hi ENF!!! Wishing you the best of luck! I also need a SHG🙄. This will be my third one 🙈 And I totally forget the details. Do they usually do it on CD 7-14? I just remember my doctor fondly calling it.... the stick as many things as we can into one orrifice test 😂. I'm just waiting for AF to come (still nursing) then will go from there.

Hey Bug! I just read your posts on this thread and realize we have a lot in common. I'm a nurse too. I work 12 hour nights so I can be home in the mornings and late afternoon with the kids. I tend to work anywhere between 1 and 6 shifts in a two week period but I stay casual so I have ultimate flexibility with my schedule. I plan on quitting work once we conceive baby #4. I'm looking forward to being a full-time stay at home mom for a few years. How do you feel about having four children? Are yours spaced out quite a bit like mine?

LOL @ your description of the SHG. I seem to recall it was an easy procedure when I had it done last, prior to my fresh cycle. I think it was done around mid-cycle. My period is due in a week so I'll be calling in to schedule that SHG appointment. Have you got your first period yet since delivery? I exclusively breast fed and mine came back at 4 months post-partum while we were in Hawaii...ugh! I was terrified I'd get eaten by a shark every time I went swimming because my flow was so heavy. giggle.gif

Off for some blood work this morning!

Hey ENF! Yes we do have a lot in common! I'm taking a new position .. a benefit eligible casual. I'll be guareented/ forced lol to work 6 shifts a month. Being a stay at home mom sounds amazing!! I don't love work but come from a small hospital with very small RN pool and feel obligated to go back. After number four I might take 18-24 months off.... or heck maybe not at all 😂😂😂. Mine are all young... 4.5 yo twins and baby is almost a year. Our family just doesn't feel complete yet and I want another soooo badly. This is coming from someone who said they never wanted kids 15 years ago. HA!

I actually just ovulated for the first time since delivery so pending a miracle 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻... first AF will be here in 10-14 days 😜. Four months pp?!? Ugh. Thanks a lot body lol. Glad you didn't get eaten lol

That's exciting Bug! Will you transfer with your next cycle then? If you do then we will be cycling at the same time, which would be great. The similarities will continue!

I received the results back from my blood work. My antithyroid antibodies were high but my TSH was good at 1.05. Apparently it's fairly common for women to have high antithyroid antibodies. My RE is not concerned since my TSH is normal.

I'm having a bit of a debate with myself right now. I'd love all of your opinions. Amp will remember me mentioning this in the 2016 thread. Because my cycle has been shorter than usual it's pushed my FET earlier in April than I had originally expected. Assuming this FET works (I really hope it does!) our due date would now be December 27th. I'd definitely hold the child back from starting Kindergarten until they are older, but I'm wondering if a Christmas baby is a good idea. Most people with December birthdays don't like it. What does everyone think about it?

Hey ENF! I wondered about the December birthday too as my transfer is now scheduled for April 6... But honestly I just want to start trying asap. If it happens then that is great. Surely my baby will forgive me. My son was born on November 29 so his birthday is already quite close to Xmas. I feel like time isn't on my side so in my books it would be a great Xmas present for my family:)

So you'd be due December 22nd? I'm really glad to have your perspective. I feel silly for feeling this way and I also feel like I could jinx my chances of this FET working by even mentioning it. It's crazy what fertility treatments do to one's brain. I've turned into a superstitious person all of a sudden!

ENF: just heard today. SHG is next Thursday. I still need another period before I'll be offered treatment 🙄. Still a bit of waiting to do! As for your dec birthday question I'd probably skip a month to avoid a birthday right around Xmas. I'm ok with early/mid dec but not right around😜
