I have a consult on Feb 1 for a FET with our last frozen blast. Dr. H gave it a 50/50 chance. If we don't have success I'll be doing another fresh cycle later in the spring.

I'm excited to be starting all of this again.

Looking forward to sharing our journeys.

I'm so excited for a new year last one really got me feeling low. I'm going to be doing a FET this February after a failed fresh cycle in November. I only have the one frozen embryo and am terrified and consumed with thoughts on it not surviving the thaw.

Hi Gals,

I'm back in the saddle again, doing another FET right now. Well...attempting to anyways. Had my lining check and b/w done today. Unsure about b/w results but apparently my lining is only at 6mm. Taking estrace morning dose the same but splitting evening into oral and vaginal until Friday's u/s. Anyone know what the lining should be at for thickness? I feel so out of the loop! I didn't start to get nervous until I had to go pick up the needles and gauges for PIO today!

Best of luck everyone!

Hey ladies. I have a friend who is on letrozole and she was asking me if I knew of any cases where it made you cycles shorter. Has anyone ever experienced that.??

That's interesting Mamacee. My cycles changed from 28 days to 26 days but I never linked it to my iui cycle with letrozol 3 years ago. I have been 26 days for so long now that I think back it could be a result of letrozole? Highly likely...that or I am just getting old ;)

I also had major night sweats (and still do).

Katheryn2013, kimieg, Morningstar, awe84, ENF and everyone going through this journey best of luck on your transfers/cycles!!

I am currently on stims...day 5 ultrasound scheduled this weekend. We only got 3 eggs with out last IVF cycle. I pray this time around with DHEA and superfact we get lots of healthy beautiful eggs!!!

Yes letrazole will shorten cycles. It made my cycles go from about 32 days to 28 days so moved my ovulation day forward by a few days those cycles that I used it. This is extremely common.

Me -29 31- unexplained poor egg quality. I was told I had endometriomas.....but repeat ultrasounds at other clinics have said no sign of endometriomas. Maybe PCOS-like ovaries, but no PCOS - AMH, AFC are great. No one can explain why my eggs are so poor sad.png

DH 30 - severe teratospermia, count and motility are excellent.

May 2014 - 2.5mg femara - BFN (ovulated night before)

June 2014 - IUI with 5mg femara - BFN (ovulated night before)

August 2014 - IVF with ICSI - Antagonist protocol, 150Bravelle, 75 menopur, stimmed 8 days

- 19 follicles (all 15-22mm at trigger), 12 eggs retrieved, 7 mature,, 5 fertilized with ICSIsad.png

- only 7 mature eggs with an estrogen of 20000?! wtf?! Sigh...Freeze All

-only one BB Blast made it. Freeze "all" became "freeze one". All others arrested between day 3 and 4 sad.png

January 2015 - FET of lone embryo - c'mon little figher

- BFP!!! Beta 1 475 at 10dp5dt , Beta 2 - 1495 at 12dp5dt

Baby boy born Sept 28/15

Thank so for the reply. I will let her know!

We just had our fet cancelled due to poor Matris test. Scored a 6. Feeling very discouraged at the moment. But I suppose fetter to not transfer. Has anyone else here done the Matris test? I am going to take some time off and then try again and hope for a better score. I was able to get my lining thicker this time so that was good. Npt sure there is anything j can do to help the receptivity of my endometrium.

Nice to see so many moving along here.

Mamacee I'm so very sorry for your cancelled cycle, always a bummer. Hope the next try goes better.

As for letrozole, I did one cycle with it for an fet mock cycle and it moved my cycle up by quite a bit.

Itstime I hope things go well for you!

Kimieg good luck!

Crazy wishing you all the best!

Kathryn vfc will transfer with a minimum of 7mm and trilaminar but ideally you want 8 or more. We cancelled many fet's trying to get to the right thickness as we were down to our last embryos, it paid off for us. I think it was staying on estrogen just a few more days than usual due to them being too busy to the transfer at the standard 14 days in. I hope splitting the dose works for you! I had to switch to patches and even then I had a similar response other than the few extra days. Wishing you all the best!

I told myself I wouldn't test early but I used a cheapie last night at 7dp3dt for the heck of it and got a squinter. Went out and bought some FRERs and got another squinter before bed last night and another first thing this morning. The one this morning might be a smidge lighter but I'm trying really hard not to dwell on it since they are both very faint. I'm sooooo nervous now!! Beta isn't until Saturday.

AWE - I spotted for weeks with this pregnancy and I'm 14w now. I had a prenatal appointment today and the nurse picked up baby's heartbeat right away. I spotted with Amelia too... sometimes, spotting means the embryo is getting comfy. fingers crossed!!

Hy pearljam. Did you ever have lining issues before transferring? What was the highest you were able to get to

This time my lining got to a 7.5 with great two pattern and they said it looked really good. Then I did the Matris and got a 6. Trying to digest that. Worries maybe sometimes to much information is to much. We will try the Matris again and then I guess make a decision from there.

Mamacee: what protocol did you try? I tried a medicated FET in the cycle following my retrieval and my lining got to 4.5 cm and we cancelled. The next cycle we did a natural cycle and it was 9.5 I believe.
