Hi there. Just had an ERA done after 6 failed embryo transfers of pgs tested embryos. Found out I need one extra day on progesterone. I have a chronically thin lining. My lining was a 6.2 for the ERA test and it came back as pre receptive still. I also had my endometrin tested two days later which showed post receptive so we know I need the one extra day. Now my lining is stuck around a 6 again so we are trying to get it thicker to start progesterone. Any success stories with thin linings ans pregnancy or anyone pregnant after the ERA test??

Ive tried almost everything for my thin lining. My estrogen levels get to over 1k and my lining gets triple striped but does get thick. I've also implanted before but always miscarry before heart beat is detected.

I just completed my fourth FET and negative again. This last one was after I did the ERA TEST AND BASICALLY SPENT 1100 DOLLARS FOR NOTHING! Like you, mine came back pre-receptive did two extra days of progesterone and still negative. To be honest I am really annoyed at the fact that I did this test, I almost feel it is a waste of money. I got pregnant on the usual progesterone protocol once before and would have carried to term but lost my baby to a birth defect, got pregnant the second time and miscarried at almost 7 weeks and since then, I have not been able to get pregnant. I just don't get it so thought this ERA test was the answer. I did though question that since I got pregnant twice on the usual progesterone protocol, why would that change? However, I was talked into doing it....anything for answers right? I am sorry I don't have positive thoughts about this test. Regarding your lining, I am not sure if your RE has given you medication for it but there are things that they can provide. I tried viagra and tomaxofin which neither did anything for me. What worked for me was Climara patches combined with vaginal estrace. If you look at the postings for thin lining, there is some very helpful advice there. Wishing you all the best.

Hey there. I am so glad you posted. That sucks so bad that you did the ERA test and still got a negative. How was your ERA only 1,100? I spent 1500$ by doing it twice. Did you transfer one or two embryos and were they pgs tested? What did your Dr day on whey they think this didn't work??? Will you transfer again on the day the ERA test showed receptive??? What was your lining at? Do they have any idea why you have gotten pregnant before on a different number of days of progesterone? I would ask ivigen thst question.

I've tried all sorts of meds for my lining. Vaginal estradiol does nothing for me. I do del estrogen injections and patches now.

I am a success story after ERA biopsy.

I had 3 previous transfers, 4 blastocysts and all I had was one chemical pregnancy.

The tests showed I needed one more day of progesterone.

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with twins, my last two blastocysts.

Best of luck to you :-)

I never really had lining issues but they were never super thick either, always right around 8-8.5.

I'm not sure what made the difference but my lining for this transfer was 10.9. We did not do any supression(birth control and suprefact) I just started my cycle and started taking estrogen on day 3. Another thing that happened was instead of brand name estrace my pharmacy subistuted it for generic estrogen. I had never had any adverse side effects from the brand name but when taking the generic I was really sick for a few days, and low and behold my lining was thicker.

@Cdgal maybe you can help ease my mind here. My transfer is at 12:45pm and I'm worried we are doing it too late in the day. After 5 nights of taking pio at 530pm I was prereceptive. So needed 24 more hours on pio. This was done around 9am. Then after 7 nights on pio taken at 530pm I was post receptive and this was done at 9 am. My worry is since my transfer isn't at 9am after 6 nights of pio taken at 530pm I'll miss the window and be transferring too late in the day and only 16 hours earlier than my post receptive test and that test didn't say 12 hours less......

Emakg: best of luck with your transfer, try not to stress if that's possible! I think you're close enough with your biopsies being done at 9 and transfer scheduled at 12:45. That's less than 4 hours difference. From everything I've read, the implantation window is 24 hours (12 hours at minimum) and you're well within that! Update us when you can!

DH: 39 - MF, low motility, low count

TTC since 2008.

Started IVF journey in 2012, 3 fresh cycles and 3 FET attempts with first RE resulted in 3 BFNs and 3 cancelled transfers. No BFPs, no chemicals, never even seen a double line on HPT. cry.gif

Changed REs in 2015.  Repeated all tests and decided to bank embryos for PGS testing due to history of BFNs.  After 3 cycles and PGS testing - finally achieved 2 PGS normal embryos. banana.gifbanana.gif RE suggested ERA testing to determine implantation window. Mock cycle in May 2016 and July 2016, receptive results showing that 7 days of progesterone support required.

FET attempt #1 with new RE - Sept 2016: cancelled due to pharmacy med mixup th_agrr.gif

FET attempt #2 with new RE - Nov 2016: cancelled again - lining not trilaminar eusa_wall.gif

FET #3 with new RE - Feb 2017 eusa_pray.gif - suppression check and removed nuvaring on Jan 12th.  To start delestrogen injections Jan 16th.

I just had my suppression check this morning at my local clinic. They will send the bloodwork results and ultrasound report to my RE today. Hopefully I can get the green light to start the FET protocol!
It's so hard not to test. I've done the 2ww both ways and still don't know what I'll do next time. I'm excited for you!
