Hello Ladies....I came down with a nasty 48 hr flu this past Monday which I'm over it today and I go in tomorrow to see if I can proceed with an unmedicated FET seeing as I had my LH surge yesterday...so transfer would be this weekend. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge from what you have learned or have been told by your RE in regards to if it's okay to still proceed with a FET after the flu? I did have a mild fever for a little less than 12 hrs though was mainly the typical flu symptoms which I won't go into detail lol. ;) Thanks Ladies!

I don't know about the flu, but I did an FET just after having bronchitis (with a fever) this year.  I still had a productive cough on the day of transfer and my RE wasn't concerned.  She just said not to take cough medicine.  The flu might be different or it might be more related to your overall health?  It's probably best to check with your RE when you see them tomorrow.

Good luck!

I had a bad cold with a terrible cough during my successful transfer. In my case, I wonder if being a bit immune suppressed might've helped!

Thanks ladies my RE would have been ok proceeding even after the flu but due to other reasons it got cancelled. At least I know now the flu doesn't change the FET outcome.
