I've been waiting for an August group to pop up and since it hasn't, I'm taking the (optimistic) plunge! Just had success with a FET and I'm due end of August. Would love to chat with others due in August!

I kept checking to see if one would pop up too! I'll hang out with you & hope others will join. It'd be nice to have a group where others have gone through fertility treatment.

Congrats to all!

Congrats to everyone with their early ultrasounds & good results!

Unfortunately I can't say the same. I had my first u/s today. I'd be 6w2d or 6w3d after transferring 2 day six embryos. Turns out both implanted as there were 2 sacs. One was much smaller & appeared to be empty. I've had some spotting for the past week & my RE figures this is why. My other gestational sac was larger & contained a yolk sac, but the image was not clear enough to make out the fetal pole.

He said it wasn't bad news as he couldn't say there was no fetal pole. The image just wasn't clear enough. I'm preparing for the worst as there really should have been an obvious fetal pole & heartbeat by now. I have another u/s booked in 2 weeks to see what's going on, but I'm not sure I'll get that far.

Good luck to everyone else on their journey!

Karmapaws, maybe it was just the image not being clear. I know other clinics don't do ultrasounds before 7 weeks as you may not see a heartbeat before 7 weeks. Hopefully you will have better news in 2 weeks.

hi everyone!  we did FET on nov 22nd.    due date is aug 10  which confuses me since i am currently 9.5 weeks and since i will need c-section, and I'm 46  was told they take out at 39 weeks, so that would be july..  i guess we will just wait and see..

this is our 6 ivf cycle. and so very happy and grateful it took.

Hi everyone, we had our ultrasound on tuesday and everything looks good. There is only one in there and he or she is doing well and measuring tall apparently. I am just over 8 weeks. How is everyone doing symptom wise? My main thing has been exhaustion and quite frankly I've been in a real funk and not feeling like myself. On the plus side the nausea I experienced with our twins seems to be staying away this time around and I've been able to practice kundalini yoga almost daily.

Karmapawz - so sorry for your stressful news - I hope you get much better news and soon.

cakelady13 - welcome and I wouldn't pay too much attention to the due date - with my first pregnancy it seemed like everyone gave me a different date. As long as you have an idea, you're good!

Corri7 - yay for a good ultrasound. I am due either the 23rd or 25th so very close to your date!

Baltic5 - so glad your ultrasound went well!

annatarz79 - did you have your ultrasound?

Ashott, I am really happy that your ultrasound went well.
My nausea is also quite manageable, but I am exhausted. One thing that really bothers me is my inflamed sinuses. I didn't know this was a symptom, but I had it ever since the positive test, and it seems to only be getting worse.

Glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing well. I had my second u/s today. Going by my transfer date I should be 8w0d today. There were still 2 sacs. The smallest one was still empty & the baby just never developed.

The other sac didn't have a fetal pole last time, but now has a baby with a heartbeat. Unfortunately it's still not good news. The sac is measuring 7w1d & the baby is only measuring 6w2d, almost two weeks behind. The heartbeat is also very low @ 68bpm. The Dr expects it to stop growing & that seems to be the logical conclusion as it's so far behind.

I'm actually not super upset. I went in expecting the worst & feeling blessed/lucky to have my daughter from my first IVF cycle. 👶🏻❤️

Baltic5 - that's too bad about your sinuses - Have you considered a nasal spray? I've been using Sinna spray (http://www.avogel.ca...nasal-spray.php) and it's been amazing - any time I feel a cold coming on.

As hottest, thanks for the suggestion, I will try that. I've been using neti pot.

Hello! We had our FET November 22nd and I'm due August 10th! So far, so good! Had our first US at 7w1d saw baby and heartbeat. Had another two weeks later 9w5days, good heartbeat, good growth. Due to insurance, thought I might have to switch OBs, which is why the RE saw us one more time. Now, waiting to see my regular OB on Feb 1st. Anyone else get super anxious between appointments!?? I know I do! Trying to stay positive though. So far, other than being tired and sore breasts of course, not much else in the symptoms department. It's nice to have a forum with others going through the same thing at same time!

Yes, I was counting days from my first ultrasound to my second especially since I don't have that many symptoms.

Karmapawz, sorry your outcome hasn't been better. Your daughters lucky to have such a strong momma.

As for symptoms...oh ya, they are kicking my butt. Nausea all day, fatigue, out of breathe...but I'm trying to take comfort in knowing I've got a strong bean growing.

Amber83 - I am always worried... I have my ultrasound and feel relieved but after a few days I get nervous again and that builds until the next ultrasound. I had my second ultrasound on January 18th, at 12w1d and everything looked good. My FTS was negative which is good, I was worried about it as I will be 35 when the baby is born. My next ultrasound is not until March 8th, not sure how I will last that long!? Especially because I have an Anterior placenta so I probably wont feel my baby for a long time.

Hi everyone!
I had my transfer on December 18th of 2 embryos.
My original due date was September 8 but we had our first ultrasound last Monday and saw 2 heartbeats, one was 160 and other 140 and both measuring good! So if I do end up having twins my due date would probably be end of august.
Definitely feeling more exhausted, nauseous and hungry than with my singleton 2 years ago.

Hi!!! i am sorry i haven't been here for some days now. update.. everything looks good i had my first big screening yesterday measuring everything from fingers to toes :) everything is perfect. next appointment in two weeks! due date is on the 14th of August but we discussed yesterday to induce at 38 weeks to avoid late complications ( and that is if the baby doesn't decide otherwise)

anyway we will see how it goes. i still look at the u/s and feel like looking at somebody else's baby!

we don't know the sex yet but we are not that anxious to find out either. and another thing i had a general blood work done and i was referred to a specialist for gestational diabetes as my blood sugar is borderline diabetic so i will be testing multiple times a day and i will keep a log and go back to the docs on the 10th to evaluate the results! we will see how it goes.

i would love to read your updates :)

No news for me except feeling extremely exhausted and can barely make it through the day. Seems worse than with my first pregnancy so it must be because I'm carrying twins.
I'm finding it very hard to wait until February 27 for my next ultrasound.
