anyone have success over 40? I may have an opportunity to do the procedure as part of a clinical trial. From what I have read there does not seem to be a lot of success after 40, not sure if may of the women who undergo this procedure are under 40 or it is because it doesn't help. wanting to hear personal experiences. thank you!

we had our baby at almost 43.. Started at 35, last IVF at 40 (freeze it all). Took two years break after big loss...

4 IVFs, multiple FETs, 2 Clinics (Genesis and VFC), over 60 eggs collected, 2 chemicals, 1 blighted ovum, 1 miscarriage at 8 weeks, 1 miscarrage at 12w5d with twins, severe adenomyosis ... First IVF at 35... Took two years break at 40 after devastating twins loss. Finally at 43 our miracle son Gabriel Marcus is born.. Long painful road...

I spoke with a family friend who is an RE in the US. He was very enthusiastic about Augment and suggested the clinics Create and CART in Toronto.  I did a consultation to see if I would be a candidate for Augment, but found out there is a strict cutoff age of 42, as there has been limited success over 40. From what I understand, younger women whose embryos do not develop well have been helped the most. Augment has already been approved in Canada, but OvaPrime is another treatment which is only in clinical trials. I do not know the specifics for qualification, but it could be something to research and be on the list for evaluation.

Wishing everyone a happy new year and the granting of our deepest wishes for a baby in 2017!
