Everhopeful its a super cute 3d pic! Is baby measuring big?

AFM i passed my 2hr GD test thankfully! But had an ultrasound yesterday and now baby boy is measuring 3weeks ahead instead of 2 from a month ago!! Have OB appt next week and will be asking about possible early induction? But im sure they will say no need. Thankfully i have one more scheduled ultrasound at 35wks and if baby is basically Full Term/big big by then maybe they will plan for induction. I have no hips so im a bit concerned about him fitting to come out!

Loveislove- Is so nice to read from you. Im happy that all is going well despite the scare you recently had and you baby ready now. I love the idea of pampering yourself before baby comes. We deserve it especially as you mentioned after years if infertility and stress is a good treat. I wanted to get a mani padi but no time. DD has been cranky lately and wants my attention more then ever before. I dont know if she senses that the baby is coming or what but she is really getting attached to me.

Will the dark patches on your face go away after delivery? I have skin discolouration on my arm pits and neck. It looks like I haven't taken a shower in months. Is gross. As for peeing, i feel the same. I get up 5 times during the night and i have extreme hot flashes which makes it hard to sleep. I know Mother Nature prepares us for when baby arrives, but give me a break im already prepared as a have a toddler who is fuzzy about most things lately so just let me sleep LOL

As for the birth plans, I'll go with the flow. I had a love-hate relationship with epidural last pregnancy so i dont know what to do this time around. I wanted to do a water birth as it looks cool on videos but not sure about that either. I have yet to register to my hospital and im already 33 weeks. Dh jocked this morning and said "it's ok register after delivery " 😂

Nursery is ready but no one is sleeping there any time soon. DD sleeps in our bed and the baby will sleep next to us. Baby clothes are ready just need to put them in drawers. I have a lot of diapers from DD since i tried every diaper posible and have so many boxes full of diapers.

Take care.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

A bit big,  yes.  He's in the 75th percentile for size, but his belly is in the 90th percentile, which they think is because of the GD.  At my last u/s he that added up to 2 weeks ahead.  He's been measuring 2 weeks ahead since the beginning though.  My first kid measured 2 weeks ahead too, but he didn't have cheeks like this!

Hello everyone, hope all is continuing to go well as you guys head into the home stretch. I love that you ladies are getting maternity photos done, i missed out on that opportunity unfortunately.
As for getting nursery ready, luckily we had ours painted and cribs put together before the little ones made their surprise appearance, and my family is getting the rest of it ready while we are away.

Everhopeful - I LOVE the chubby cheeks, nothing cuter than a chubby baby.

Thanks Ladies!  I know it's selfish and petty but I've been really freaking out about those cheeks, so I appreciate all the chub love!

afroil - My daughter was huge too. She measured above the 99th percentile for length, absomen, and head circumference, from about 20 weeks to mid way into her first year. I think she was about 2 weeks ahead when measured on ultrasound... And 10lb 9oz at birth! Big girl for sure. Try not to correlate narrow hips with trouble delivering your baby - it's the pelvic opening that matters. Two of my friends are the skinniest, tiniest little people I've ever seen and they both pushed their multiple babies out with total ease. Unless your doctor is concerned I suppose... Hopefully you can avoid an induction anyway! Let us know how the next ultrasound goes. I was just looking at my belly photos from last time and I think I look about the same.... Which does have me a bit concerned that my babe might be big again! Looking forward to checking at our ultrasound next week.

Me: 36, DH: 66 (failed vasectomy reversal in 2013)

IVF cycle #1 - August 2013
- retrieved 11 eggs, 2 made it to blastocyst stage, transferred two embryos
- 8dp5dt hpt BFP!!!!! th_abfp.gif 9dp5dt beta test --> hCG = 35, 11dp5dt beta test --> hCG = 96
- early ultrasound (7w1d) --> one baby with a heartbeat of 125! yahoo.gif
- miscarriage at 7w4d, discovered at 9w1d ultrasound. Devastated sad.png Doctor suspects miscarriage was due to poor egg quality on a chromosomal level due to low estrogen during stimulation phase.

IVF cycle #2 - January 2014
- retrieved 29 eggs, 5 made it to blastocyst stage, transferred two embryos, froze three more
- 9dp5dt hpt BFP!!! th_abfp.gif beta test --> hCG = 12, 11dp5dt hCG = 22, 15dp5dt hCG = 22 --> looks like another early miscarriage or possibly vanishing twin?
- 24dp5dt hCG = 83 --> WTF?
- 26dp5dt hCG = 36 --> this cycle is over (6w5d).  Recurring Pregnancy Loss bloodwork panel done.

IVF cycle #3 (medicated FET) - June 2014
- June 27/14 transferred two embryos (still one frozen)
- 9dp5dt beta test #1 --> BFP!  hCG = 60 th_abfp.gif  So happy!!!! yahoo.gif11dp5dt beta test #2 hCG = 79, 13dp5dt beta test #3 (4w4d) hCG = 200 !!!!  Yay!!!  So relieved!
- viability ultrasound (6w2d) --> saw one little baby, HR 100 bpm! banana.gifbanana.gifbanana.gif
- second ultrasound (8w4d) --> baby measuring right on track, HR 170 bpm!  preggo.gif
Sept. 4/14 - First Trimester Screening ultrasound (NT scan) --> healthy baby passed with flying colours!
Oct. 27/14 - 20 week ultrasound --> baby looks perfect, but diagnosed with "Velamentous Cord Insertion"
Dec. 5/14 - 26 week ultrasound --> unable to confirm VCI
Dec. 16/14 - High risk OB appointment - interpretation of previous ultrasound is that we have marginal insertion, not VCI.
Jan. 19/15 - 32 week ultrasound --> baby is measuring at 90th percentile!
Mar. 15/15 - due date!
Mar. 25/15 - after a difficult 34 hours of labour, our beautiful little miracle, Kira Rosalie, was born at 2:05pm, weighing a very healthy 10lb 9oz!  We are so in love with everything about her and are so thankful to finally have her in our arms! (surprised that when we saw the placenta, it WAS Velamentous Insertion after all!)

IVF cycle #4 (medicated FET) - fall 2016 - time to try to make a sibling for Kira!

May 12/16 - found out I have gallstones (caused by pregnancy) and need to have my gallbladder removed!  Grrrr!  3-4 month wait for surgery.   th_aggahhh.gif Decided to do a fresh IVF, freeze-all cycle while we wait.

July/16 - my screwed up cycle never showed up, so now we have run out of time to do a freeze-all cycle before my surgery.  Now we have no choice but to wait until October to do our FET.  It's always something. eusa_wall.gif

Sept. 1/16 - gallbladder removal surgery

Sept. 15/16 - started BCP to induce long-overdue cycle (three months and counting...)

Oct. 8/16 - CD#1

Nov. 3/16 - transferred one day 6, 4BB embryo

Nov. 10/16 - HPT BFP!!!  (8dp5dt) th_abfp.gif

Nov. 12/16 - beta #1 = 74! yahoo.gif Nov. 14/16 - beta #2 = 113.  Only a 53% increase, 79 hour doubling time.  Nov. 16/16 - beta #3 = 267!  WHEW!!

Dec. 6/16 - viability ultrasound - saw a happy baby measuring on track at 11mm, HR 145bpm!  Yay!!

Jan. 9/17 - First Trimester Screening is all clear and baby is perfect!  HR 170 bpm smile.png

Feb. 21/17 - anatomy ultrasound --> all clear!  Baby is happy and super active!

My fundal height is measuring 3 weeks ahead, BPD 75th percentile and AC 90th percentile - EEP!   I wish I had another u/s coming up so I could see if there was any difference now that I'm on the insulin.
