I also have DOR. This was my third Ivf and im currently in the 2ww. I always had 5-6 antral follicles but ended up with 2 blasts. This time was a shock for dh and i because i had 11 antral follicles they increased to 14 on day 5 of stims but were small and ended up with 8 on ER day. One was immature and the rest made it to day 5. We transferred 1 yesterday and now waiting for the call to see how many they froze and what grade they are.

From what I learned is that things change from cycle to cycle. Keep positive. Quality over quantity

You ended up with quite a few at day 5 that's awesome. Have to let us know how many they froze and at what grade they are. Things definately change that's for sure. Did you do your IVFs right after each other or waited for a bit? #keeppositive #qualityoverquantity ❤️
I had a FET in 2014 which resulted in my daughter in 2015 and now shes 17 months old so i guess it is far apart.

I got the call today from lab. They froze 4 and 1 transferred. The grades are
5AB
5BB
5BB
4BB
3AB

We transferred the first one. 2 didnt make as they were not good enough to freeze. Im still extremely happy with the results never thought this is posible.

Nice that's awesome, only takes one embie to stick! Wishing us the both the best of luck! I only have 6 days to my BETA test let's hope it's a positive. 😊

I did trigger last night! In for ER tomorrow. Every step am happy to have made it this far, but always hope that the next one works as well. One day at a time. So far I have managed to remain pretty stress free.

Good luck today returnable!!!! Sending you lot and lots of positive thoughts for many eggs today smile.png

Thanks aurora. We ended up getting two as the third follicle was a cyst. They all fertilized. Hoping they keep growing.

Just finished EPP and Starting my stimms tomo!!! With retrieval around mid month!! It's finally happening... I am just so trying not to get caught up in feeling scared for that first U/S.

Each day I feel "different" than last time (with hopes for more follicles) or so my mind is telling me lol

Here's hoping :)

V016 so happy that you have ended up with four to freeze this time around. I wish you the best during this 2WW. Do try to relax and enjoy that there are four more waiting for you, though hopefully you will not need them :)

I'm impatiently waiting for my day 5 report. Also I had to switch a medication for something outside of IVF in case I have to do a fresh transfer so I feel a bit crappy. My clinic never provided E2 unless I asked, and by the time we finally got to trigger I didn't ask as I was tired of stimming.

When is your first u/s? Did you get a baseline? Good luck with your stimms tonight. How many days did you stimm last time?

Hang in there! What will determine a fresh transfer for you?

I live pretty far from the clinic now so no baseline this time but last time it was 4. I triggered on day 9 last time. Scheduled blood work for sunday and then u/s monday

It would be a fresh if they thought the blastocyst would not make it through a freeze/thaw cycle (poor quality I guess). It is not something that I thought about, but another person on this forum who has the same Dr. mentioned it as a possibility. Actually we never even considered fresh transfer as our clinic prefers frozen as they have better success rates with FET as the body has had a chance to recover.

How far do you have to drive?

Wow that is quite the "drive" aurora. Perhaps you live in a very interesting place.

My AMH was 1.02 mM/L. What units was your AMH in? See my summary article here about AMH if you are interested. It also gives the conversion rate between the two types of units:

Thanks for sharing smile.png

.31 ng/ml in March of this year. it was .5 ng/ml the last IVF in 2014 but I do live north so it could of been lack of vitamin D. (or hoping cause I'm supplementing 3000iu)

I still seem to get 3 eggs each time so hopefully looking for the same..... OR BETTER LOL

So I'm at 0.14 ng/ml. Vitamin D should have nothing to with your AMH, though it does have a positive effect on other things. I had mine measured in May I think.

I am doing okay so far. Going to take my BETA test tomorrow and hopefully get a positive outcome on Saturday. Not feeling very hopeful though I took a test Wednesday and it said negative. It would be a miracle if it was positive. We are already planning for the next steps just in case. I am still trying to remain positive.

My AMH level is 2.02 ng/ml

That link is very helpful thanks returnable 😊

We got one blastocyst and will do the PGS on it. The other one stopped developing around 60 cells.

Feels a little bittersweet. I am so glad that we make one more step. When I think of it, from getting two eggs retrieved to one blastocyst is really good. I will keep reminding myself...it only takes one...

returnable - Had to jump in and say congrats! That is a really positive outcome from 2 eggs. We had 13 eggs and ended up with one blast. Your ratio is awesome!

Re:AMH and Vit D, there is a connection. I supplemented with Vit D and raised mine from 1.49ng to 1.98ng over a 7 month period. I've had a friend experience a similar bump in their AMH from improving their Vit D. Article below.

Oh, and I had my Vit D retested and I am just now barely into the normal range. I'm going to continue supplementing as I think my AMH is still a bit suppressed.

Here is the actual study: http://www.fertstert...1671-3/abstract

My doctor also recommended me to take vitamin D, Q10, and folic acid. I don't think I have ever tested my AMH level. Or maybe I have been tested, but my doctor never told me my numbers. He just told me that I have DOR based on my ultrasound result.

Do you guy also ask for a copy of your blood work result?

Good luck everyone! No matter what stage you are at with your journey....

My RE has always provided us our results but I have to ask my monitoring clinic specifically. I think AMH is a very important factor along with FSH for DOR diagnosis.
