My next cycle at Create we are going to be doing Intralipids.

 

I was wondering if anyone else had done them at Create and knows what there procedures are?

 

Specfically,

 

1. when did you do your first intralipid infusion?

2. Did you do another one on Transfer day?

3. What about at 7 or 12 weeks of pregnancy?

4. did you do it at the clinic? OR elsewhere?

5. what was the cost? was it covered by anyone insurance?

Hi idream,

I am not going to be able to answer all of your questions because I just can't remember.  But I know that I did not do an intralipid IV on transfer day, and that all the intralipids were done in the OR at Create.

The cost was about $330 and my insurance did not cover it.  

I can't recall having it done after pregnancy, but I really am not sure.

Hi Idream, I havent had one yet due to a lining issue but when things were looking favourable I was told it would be scheduled for the day before the transfer. We didnt get as far as cost or if another would be required after a confirmed pregnancy.
