I suggest First Steps fertility on yonge and Sheppard. There's only one doc so far and she helped me and my sister conceive. It's more personalized since it's a smaller clinic. The nurses will get to know you and I felt like Dr Weisberg got to know me and my sister personally.

I didn't see First Steps Fertility on the list of approved clinics for the fertility funded program.  Do you know if they were approved?

I can also vouch for First Steps Fertility, they are on the list for receiving funding; although with a wait list like many others. I like Dr Fay Weisberg, the nurses are lovely, only fair warning one of the full time receptionist's is a bother with a cruddy disposition lol.

Mount Sinai hospital has an excellent infertility clinic. Doctors are all top notch and nurses are outstanding. I had worked with Dr. Hannam for a previous cycle and not only was it extremely expensive, I had a horrible outcome and my entire treatment felt very impersonal. Once I switched to Mount Sinai (for my fourth and final IVF procedure) I had success. Dr. Greenblatt is the best there is. I preferred being part of a hospital that wasn't a "for-profit" organization as I felt they weren't in it to make money off me.

Im really interested in the feedback on here as we're looking at alternative clinics after two failed rounds at a clinic in our province. TO would be top of the list simply to cut down on costs as we have family we can stay at in TO.
We have MF and had a referral with Dr Jarvi at Mt Sinai well before Xmas, he asked for some more tests to be done, got the results before Xmas and I have called three times since the new year and keep getting the run around "he's a busy man, I'll let him know you called".
Our dr here in AB recommended him as one of the top MF specialists in Canada, but it seems impossible to get ahold of him! I will call them again next week, but it's getting REALlY frustrating!

TTC since Oct 2013

Mt Sinai is the best. It's relatively small, the system they have worked out is quick and efficient. The nurses there do a lot and they are super accomodating and lovely to deal with. I went to Create to see if I could get on the gov funded IVF list sooner (the waiting list at Mt Sinai is very long) and I could. In fact, I could proceed right away but I had to pay $5000 for PGS testing, non-negotiable. I don't want PGS testing. As someone else pointed out, "the factory" feel was terrible. The doctor was slimy, I definitely got a money vibe from the whole place and worst of all they were completely inconsiderate of your time. I was there for 5 hours for my first appointment! 5! And they said this was normal. MOst of that time was spent waiting. The doctor took calls on his cell phone during our meeting and also would stop to send text messages. With no apologies. I felt this treatment to be unacceptable. I can't imagine paying full price and having to deal with this kind of treatment. Not even a gov-funded cycle was worth it to me. So big thumbs down to Create from me.

5 IUI's - the first was a BFP that resulted in a miscarriage. The other 4 were BFN's.

Moving on to IVF Sept 2016...

Yes, I am still at Mt. Sinai. I also work very close to Mt. Sinai so for me the convenience of the location has been a big bonus
