Love- Good to know your OHSS symptoms are getting down.Hopefully the elevated ALT is nothing to worry about. Good luck!

My clinic hasn't done any blood work after the positive beta.I tried to ask my RE if we could do blood work to make sure everything is fine, but he said there is no need. Did your clinic do blood work post positive beta?

Hey Love, my day 3 transfer was on the 27th. The nurse that called after my second beta said due date was June 18. I was surprised because I have this IVF app on my phone that told me I'd be due June 15. So I have no idea how they calculate. Maybe from retrieval? The date is 38 weeks and 1 day from my retrival. There is an online calculator that says the date should be the 17th if conception was on the 24th (retrival day). You retrieved on the 20th? You should be 4 days before me?

Binks, (hahaha, my phone autocorrects your name to ninja every time 😄), my clinic did one extra beta because my first one was low. I believe most clinics don't send you for a second unless the first was lower than what they like to see.

Hello ladies....welcome to all the wonderful mamas to be. Whaoo so much happened in the last few days.
No updates from my end, didn't get a second beta, thinking of coming up with something and go to the ER, but don't want to jinx myself lol...

Today makes me 5w2d I guess. Severe cramping, still spotting here and there, but really worried about the cramping. Will have to go in if it continues like this.

Anybody experiencing AF like cramping???

I'm going in for prenatal blood work this afternoon that my GP (family dr not fertility) is sending me for. Feels a little silly but I guess it's just to make sure levels are good? There's no beta or anything included.

I'm confused about my due date too although I know if doesn't matter in the long run. The fertility nurse told me June 10, but the online calculator on this site says June 9. I had a 5dt on sept 21.

Symptom wise I'm feeling good these days but I've had some spotting since last Wednesday. It comes and goes. There isn't actually anything on my panty liner but when I wipe there's a bit sometimes, and it mixes with my progesterone so it can come out a light pinky brown colour instead of white. No one is concerned - fertility nurse, or GP...but I don't like it. It freaks me out to see any colour. My ultrasound is next Monday so I'm just hoping it doesn't get worse and that this really is nothing. I didn't have any spotting at all in my first pregnancy.

praying- hoping the cramping settles down for you. I am not experiencing AF like cramps this week, but having a shooting pain on the left side and also some endo pain in my rectal area(sorry for TMI).

travellingsands- I feel is its great your GP is doing a routine blood work. I so want my doc to do a routine blood work to see if my levels are fine.

Ml88.ninja..haha. My clinic did two betas and has scheduled me for ultrasound Nov 1.

I have nausea on and off. No cramping this week, other than shooting pain on the left side and rectal pain.mild headache.Seeing my gyne on wednesday for the rectal pain, as he did the surgery for endo as well. Clinic didnt inform me of my due date, I am going by the online due date calculator. I am hoping my gyne will get CBC  done, just so I have peace of mind to see my levels are fine. If not my ND has asked me to do some blood work. Will keep you all posted.

My levels jumped from 85 on Friday to 351 today! Really hoping for twins!! Do these numbers look good? They more then doubled!! If they doubled right on time my levels would be 255 today, 340 tomorrow. My first ultrasound is on the 1st!

Tattedmama, the numbers look good. My number were similar to yours and clinic said they look good as long as they are doubling.

Sweet T, 2300 that is amazing, how many days post transfer are you today?

Welcome ML888 :)  Fingers crossed for you!

Love - Not sure what ALT is but hope you are ok!

AFM - Feeling nauseous.  Eating helps but I can't eat much at a time so just trying to snack randomly.  Need to prepare better for when I am out and about so I have a snack.  Had to move my midwife appointment to Fri because of a stupid work meeting that came up and my manager insisted I be there.

Is anyone doing PIO shots and have you developed an allergic reaction to them?

Thanks Bings, cramping subsided. Fingers and toes crossed. Sorry about your cold sores and temp. All preggo signso. Lol.

Sweet T, your numbers are great...two in there hopefully. I am on 2ml PIO and girl, I have bumbs all over my but. DH gives the shots, we just ice the area and apply warm compression after each short. What do you mean by allergic reaction? Like generalized?

Tattedmama, it's a good thing your numbers are doubling. At least you had a second beta. These numbers are really tricky. I have read in some sites women with very low betas ending up with twins. Who knows, if your heart yearns for twins, you might just have it.

Amp77, I wish someone could give you half of my appetite. Just fell in love with cheese of all things hahahha

Travelingsands, I too was having spotting until yesterday. Just like you described , a lot of people say it's normal so i don't worry too much on that.

Hola ML888, hope you are having a quiet one today.

Regards to anyone I might have missed.

AFM, no ultrasound scheduled yet, planning to go in on the 27th or 28th which will be exactly one month after my 5dt.

Prayingfor#2, I've started getting raised pink itchy & sore places. I called my Dr's office this morning, I'm just waiting on a call back. You think if I was gonna be allergic it would have started with the 1st shot.

Really hope my #s mean 2, but not gonna hold my breath. Don't want my hopes up to high :-/

Hey ladies,
Anyone having any new symptoms? For the last few days I've had a gurgling/gassy stomach in the afternoon and odd light punching feelings in the uterus area. Still nothing that feels like nausia (knock on wood 😁)

Ugh! So my GP sent me for some basic prenatal testing (blood and urine tests) and everything came back great BUT my TSH was high :( (which means under active thyroid - hypothyroidism) I've never had thyroid problems before! I have to go in on Thursday to discuss treatment, I'll be prescribed some kind of med and maybe follow-up testing? I can't believe this. I really hope they caught it early enough, because the small amount of googling I did freaked me out. Anyone else have any experience with this?

Had my appt with my gyne today for the pain, he said it is because of the progesterone causing gas and bloating. He didn't get any blood work done, so getting my blood work done through my ND.

New symptoms- very itchy ears and gurgling sound in the tummy.

Sorry I have been so quiet.  I am sooooo tired I have no energy for anything.  And I am not sleeping well at night.  I have been waking up between 4:14 and 5:30 every night and not able to get back to sleep.  It becomes more fun the nights my son has a rough night zzzzzz

Binks, hope everything is ok!

travelingsands - No experience with thyroid issues but I think they are often fairly easy to treat.

AFM - Other than fatigue and lack of sleep, I feel mostly fine.  A bit nauseous and gets worse if I don't eat frequently.  But I seem to go from feeling full to starving and nauseous in minutes!

Hey everyone I've I had a stressful couple days. How is everyone? Feeling okay?

I need some help... I am a card dealer at a casino where people are smoking right in front of me all night and some people are even rude enough to blow it in our faces. I have been getting really bad anxiety because of it and i am so worried about my baby. My IVF dr won't even talk to me until tomorrow and I'm supposed to work tonight.. My OB can't get me in until next week and my normal dr is supposed to call me back within 24 hrs but that doesn't really help me either. Id just quit and find a new job but my pay loss would be SO BAD. I wouldn't be able to live.. idk what to do :(

Awe, tattedmama! That's so tough! It just makes it so much harder when we have had to go through hell to get pregnant in the first place. And I understand money stress, especially in this economy! My personal philosophy is that I'm willing to do all things reasonable to keep this pregnancy and future baby healthy. I have had to make work sacrifices which reduce my income as well. Is it possible to have a confidential talk with your boss about being re-located to a position further away from the heavy smoke? Are there smoke free casinos in your area that you could apply to? While waiting to talk to your docs I would take as many fresh air breaks as possible and be a little rude to smokers so they move on more quickly :)

travellingsands- Dont know much about thyroid issues, I am sure they should be able to treat it with some meds.

tattedmama- Agree with ML88. Hoping things get better for you.

Ladies, I am a little worried. I dont feel some of my prego symptoms anymore like nausea, itchy ears and sore throat.(after my accu session on saturday). I do feel sleepy though. I am getting concerned, if this normal or no, especially I did feel nauseous earlier but now I am not. Seems so long for the first u/s.Not sure if I am over analyzing.

Hopefully everyone is feeling good
